so I use HEVC instead and it's works perfectly fine at 1080p60

Greetings, would anyone have any idea of what could be causing this error? Just noticed it today. I have set OBS with setting recommended by NVIDIA here.
Also I found the same issue on Github here.
Have added an animated gif image that's 8 bits per pixel, but when I deleted that, the error...
I have a Ryzen 9 7900x and a 3070 but even when I stream at 720p, I'm still getting an overloaded encoder error. I recently upgraded from a Ryzen 7 3700x (got a new motherboard and RAM as well) and I never used to get this error before. Why would my performance dip after an upgrade? Kind of lost...
To whom this may concern,
I am trying to record my screen, but my output has distracting shaking text and icons. The quality can be seen here:

Hi,
I've searched everywhere for something to help me with this error.
I'll be streaming and my stream starts freezing and after some time it just shuts down and ends the stream. First it was just stuttering now it went on to fully stopping stream...
I've been trying to capture both games and just some internet browsing for some youtube videos and lately OBS can't keep up. it records everything really choppy no matter if I'm using x264 or H.264. Streaming aswell... I run 16gb of ram, R5 2600 and a RX 580 8gb. I've never have this problem...

Hi all, I'm really stumped by this one and have done many hours of research online. Here's a summary:
Problem
AMD HW encoder not showing as options for recording when they should. I have a main GPU (Nvidia GTX 3080 Ti), but want to leverage the iGPU for recording gamplay specifically to avoid...
Hi guys,
I'm new to the streaming community. I've been playing games for a while now, and have started streaming for over a year now.
Usually I stream 'Escape From Tarkov' and I haven't ran into any issues when using NVENC encoding until the recent release of Call of Duty: MW2.
I'm running a...
So I just switched from an old GTX 1060 to an RX 6600XT and the performance is exceptional. Trying to stream games with the AMD encoder on the other hand looks disgustingly bad. Now I know that ''apparently'' the AMD encoder is suppose to be worse then NVIDIAs but check the video I posted below...
I have a 4k monitor and it's currently set to 144Hz.
I tried recording my desktop, nothing else and I get "Encoding overloaded" even though there is no movement.
I'm running a 3090 Ti and a Ryzen 7 3700x and I didn't even have this issue with my 2080 Ti before restoring my PC.
The card runs...
Hi all,
In the 27 build of OBS, I could have sworn there was an option under Settings > Output > Streaming > Encoder - which read "Hardware (NVENC, HEVC)".
Was this never the case? In version 28 (and now I'm on v28.0.3)It's available to me as a recording encoder, but not for...
Hey,
I have the problem that my OBS (28.0.3) x64 version only allows the "old" NVENC encoder to choose.
I have a GTX 1660 SUPER and normally it should shows the "NVIDIA NVENC H.264 (new)" but in my case it only shows the "NVIDIA NVENEC H.264" encoder. I have no idea why it do that and OBS is...

Hey, I have a really old laptop (2013) that has a dedicated gpu with no encoder and generic integrated graphics, but when I'm recording fast-paced videos, some 'blocks' have an overlay on my recording.
How do I fix this?
