Edit: I think what I'm looking for is known as Echo Cancellation. When my mic picks up the audio from the external speakers, OBS cancels out what my mic picks up because it will be an echo of the Desktop Audio.
Is this possible?
When I record a Zoom meeting in OBS, my audio records perfectly...
Hello!
This is more of a "Am I right in trying to do it this way" and "If there's a simpler way, please let me know" kind of question.
My team is doing a live play of sorts, where we are using Zoom to bring actors and sound design to OBS, which we then live stream to Twitch. So right now, my set...
My laptop has four mic, representing 4 channels. When I use Audacity or Adobe Audition recording, they only uses the 1st and 3rd mic, recording correct stereo audio.
But when I use OBS recording, setting the audio channel to be Stereo, the issue comes. The 1st mic maps the left channel, the...
Hello all,
Not sure if this has been posted previously, however, if it has please do feel free to close the thread.
I am getting back into streaming, so OBS has been my go-to for streaming software. I just got the software downloaded and installed. Everything has been mostly the same since I...
Currently the only way I have gotten this to work, is by setting "What U Hear" as the default audio device in windows, adding it and only it as an "Audio Input Capture" Source to the scenes in OBS, and controlling my mic, line in, and monitoring levels from the "Speakers Properties" dialog under...
Hi folks,
For the first time yesterday, I streamed a DJ set to Mixcloud (migrating from Twitch). At the same time, I intended to record the audio to archive/post. While the stream went rather well, after stopping the recording, I got stuck in the "Stopping recording..." process, ultimately...

Hey guys,
I m new here and very new in game recording.

Hi guys,
So I recently tried to record my first video (Valorant gameplay) and after trying to configure the settings, it turns out my audio bitrate is capped at 160. Could anyone help me figure out how to let it go up to 320 (because otherwise the audio sounds terrible). I've already turned...
Hi, I recently got a new pc and am having trouble capturing audio like I used to. I use OBS to record small audio clips to use for my animation, but on my new PC it has started recording it really distorted, almost 'fuzzy' sounding. I have a video showing what the audio should be like vs what it...
Hi,
I have an audio input source (Focusrite Scarlett Solo) that I have added to an individual scene. It shows up in the mixer. I can see the volume levels in the mixer but it doesn't record to the output file.
I have checked in advanced audio output and made sure that the track is selected...
Hey, so I've been trying to livestream some gameplay of Castlevania: SotN (great game, btw) on Xbox 360 to Twitch via OBS, and recently, I had started recording AND streaming simultaneously so that I could keep the clips around. My computer was able to do this absolutely fine, but when I opened...
I was using my Windows 10 laptop with OBS to record footage from a camera. I went HDMI out of the camera into an HD Video Capture box going USB 3 into the laptop. For audio I ran an audio cable out of my mixer and into a Behringer Audio box that went USB 2 into the laptop. At first, in OBS, I...
When I am running this particular game called "The Theater", I get a strange audio in the background. It kinda sounds like a wavy frequency of noise. (No I am not joking and trying to scare anyone)
I was able to suppress the weird audio a little bit so I can do a full let's play of the game. So...
First of all, I am sorry, my English is very poor.
My OBS recorded video, recorded 6 tracks, and had 5 sound sources. The first track mixes 5 sound sources, and the remaining 5 tracks correspond to 5 sound sources.
The sound of the first track is half a second earlier than the picture, and the...

Hello everybody! I'm a proud user of OBS since years and I want to thank the community for what you all are doing!
I have a big issue I can't seem to solve by myself, so I'm here asking you all.
I have a Windows 10 64 bit PC equipped with good memory/processor, an internal nVidia GTX 750 Ti...
I am trying to set up OBS to record my gameplay and such and have found that I can not have two audio tracks. I know mp4 and mkv support It or at least that's what I have read, I have also read flv does not support it. So here are my settings and I was wondering if anyone could lead me to a...
