My computer used to be able to stream at a fine capped 30, would be around 45, dropping every so often, so that's why I capped the frames.
Starting in around June, my computer stopped being able to stream. All my viewers said the frames were super low, so I checked, and what do you know, it's...
I'll try and keep this brief. So usually when streaming or recording on OBS I can easily hit 1080p or 720p @60FPS with no frame drops and things looked lovely and clear. I use 2 monitors, both 60hz and 1920x1080p.My setup is an i7-7700 and GPU is AMD RX 480 (8GB) and my internet is wired and a...
now i know that this is probably not what OBS was designed for, but i'm trying to record lossless video with full RGB at 2560x1440 and 75fps.
I encountered a couple of issues, the most severe being a lot of dropped frames in the recording.
To check this, i extracted every frame from...
I’ve been streaming on obs with the same setup same computer same internet bitrate etc... for the last past 6 months. Well about 3 days ago soon as I started my stream I got major dropped frames. I played with my computer settings for about 3 hours and nothing worked, called my internet...
So like 2 weeks ago i was streaming fine at like 6000 bitrate and I had no issues. Then one day i clicked start streaming and it immediately drops so many frams and its at like 50% dropped frames. Just yesterday i got comcast 1 gig internet. (like 900+ download and like 20+ upload.) and it STILL...
I've been having this weird intermittent upstream bandwidth issue.
First of all this is the first time ive streamed at my new apartment with new modem/router and new ethernet cables.
I can have a perfect stream for 3.5 hours for example then all of a sudden my bitrate just goes to shit. Starts...

As the title says, I've been streaming with these settings for over a year now on Twitch, and haven't had any problems with it. But since a week and a half ago, I started getting dropped...
As the title says, whenever I try to record gameplay the resulting file always contains dropped frames. In-game there are no frames being dropped and it's beginning to really frustrate me.
I have tinkered with the settings a lot and nothing seems to work. I've switched encoders, changed the...
I record in 1440p 60 fps, in 30000 bitrate. If I reduce the bitrate, the recording will go to something like 30 fps. It still says the video is 60 fps if you look at the stats, but it is much less than that.
The recordings are getting too large of a file size to be played in 1440p on youtube...
Yesterday I had a great 7 hour stream and I had 0 dropped frames, just like any other stream I would drop 0 to 50 frames max. However, as of today, my bitrate keeps jumping up and down from 0 to 5000 and then back to 1000 and up to 5000 and so on.This happened last year in September and I...
Hi all! I've been using the El Gato HD60 for a few months now, and I know I have to use Display Capture since there isn't support for OBS yet with the El Gato software. I've made do. However, in the last week or so, I've had ridiculously consistent dropped frames while streaming, making...
I had not changed any of my settings, and randomly when I streamed I noticed I had about a half our delay. This was using the old obs updated to the latest version, I thought if I used the obs multiplatform "OBS 0.13.4" I might not have the delay issue. And just now I ended my stream after...
