Version: OBS Studio 32.1.2
Recording Format: MKV
Output Mode: Advanced - Standard
Problem:
OBS always records audio to Track 1 only, even when I explicitly assign sources to other tracks.
What I tested:
Audio should record to the assigned track (Track 2), not default to Track 1.
Question:
Is this a known issue or is something forcing OBS to collapse all audio into Track 1? PLZ help i been at this problom for over a month now.

Problem:
OBS always records audio to Track 1 only, even when I explicitly assign sources to other tracks.
What I tested:
- Enabled only Track 2 in Output settings
- Assigned mic to Track 2 only in Advanced Audio Properties
- Disabled Track 1 completely
- Created new Profile and Scene Collection
- Removed all sources except mic (Audio Input Capture)
- Disabled Desktop Audio and Mic/Aux in global settings
- Reinstalled OBS
- Updated to latest version (32.1.2)
- Result:
- Recording still contains audio only on Track 1
- Track 2 exists but is completely empty (no waveform at all)
- Even when only Track 2 is enabled, audio still goes to Track 1
- Additional info:
- Audio meters move correctly in OBS
- Tested in DaVinci Resolve and confirmed only Track 1 has audio
- Behavior happens even in a clean setup with only one mic source
Audio should record to the assigned track (Track 2), not default to Track 1.
