I keep getting this whenever I try to purchase and i want to be sure i'm not going to be charged multiple times..

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 't' (T_STRING), expecting ',' or ';' in /home/edupennl/public_html/martijnbrekelmans.com/SMG/charge.php on line 25

Alright sorry, I shouldn't edit php files in notepad O_o

I've checked and validated it, the issue has been resolved.

Edit2: it seems to not catch the song changes by itself half of the time

Spotify works a bit differently than other players, instead of looking for a song name, smg asks spotify for the song name. Spotify only tells smg the song name every 1-2 minutes or so. If I can make this time any shorter, I will.

Yeah a shorter time can help, I stream as most people who use this do and almost instant song name changes are great. I did use the older version of the program but I stopped after spotify updated, but i came back to the site regularly to see if it had been updated to support it.Also I've been through about 4 songs and it hasn't updated the song name

I've posted an update, it should be a little bit better now, songs still have a bit of a difficulty transitioning, but they won't be overwritten by 'no song is playing' when Spotify doesn't respond.

Hello Azeirah,

I've found that I must run SMG in Administrator mode (I never have my PC setup to where my main account is in Admin mode). While that isn't much of a problem, it would be nice if it could run without having to be in admin mode.

Just a suggestion. :)

Hello,

I am wondering how you were able to get rid of the album name in Spotify.

Hmm, I don't see a playing arrow in your YouTube title. Are you by any chance using any youtube chrome plugins?
Otherwise I'll just add YouTube to the groovemarklet, and YouTube will be supported without any problems.

In the meantime, can you try if it works Firefox? (don't bother installing firefox if you don't have it, this will be simple to fix)

Edit: Yeah, I've confirmed it. It will work on Firefox but not on Chrome. I'll push a fix when I can.

Working fine with the lastest version of Spotify. Like others users have said, It would be nice to choose the option to hide the name of the album, it's the only thing I suggest to add.

I found the fix, it certainly does the trick very well, it won't take any longer than 5 seconds before the song gets updated now, and it won't skip any either.

I did find that smg will not work when you've got Spotify on private mode, but that shouldn't be too big of a problem.

This is by far the most requested feature, I'll start working on after I fixed the YouTube chrome bug.

SMG refuses to work with Spotify for me..
Tried running SMG as Admin, running Spotify in compatibility mode, and tried both 'Spotify before update' and 'Spotify after update'
I'm not running it in Private Session either..
