OK, so I can get it working, but once I restart OBS/the computer, it only accepts 1 of the 3 scene changes I'm sending until I change the port on the other two.
Seems like a bug or something.
Any ideas?

Hiya I thought I'd post this up as prosb others having similar issues, with leds. Mine had a few cc's to turn leds on and off but it was simple note on 0 and 127 velocity sent to the in my case AKAI MidiMax. I tried the toggle feature in obs midi mg and it worked but instantly, so the light would turn of and on. If this could be alternated from one value to another on each key press then I coudl have got the leds on and off with in obs midi mg. So for now I used a combination of OBS Midi Mg and Advance Scene Switcher.
I had issues first with midi not sharing beteeen obs midi mg and advance scene switcher, but then I notices if I enable only the input of the MidiMix on obs midi mg then the midi out would still be available to Advanced Scene Switcher.
I tried many virtual midi's to try sharing the midi between both but in the end I didn't need to.
So OBS Midi MG is much simpler to setup the controls then using Advanced Scene Switcher to check if a audio channel was muted then send the midi note on with a velocity of 127 to turn the light on else if the channel isn't muted then send midi note on (not off) at velocity 0 which turns the light off.

Hi I'm having a problem with mapping sliders on an APC Mini to volume of sources, it doesnt seem to take the volume from the current level of the fader, seems to jump to Zero or whatever fixed value, I've enabled 0-127 but not working as expected - is t there a trick to it?

I use network MIDI and Advanced Scene Switcher. Works without fail. Every single time. What Network MIDI programs are you using? I use the RTP MIDI program and of course that requires Apple's Bonjour software installed (Windows).
If you are recieving 'restricted device' message what program are you using to route MIDI out from the one program and in to OBS? LoopMIDI? or does Apple have some native function that is supposed to achieve this routing? If you are getting something like that message you would probably want to make sure you are not choosing an out for an in. I can't really see what you are talking about but it works fine for me.
I only popped in here because I received a notification. Looks like i haven't commented here since 2023 but your problem seems like it should be easy to solve. Only reason I mentioned it. I understand this is not the thread for Adv.S.S. but it is a good plugin for getting MIDI since it has the MIDI Macro option. I can do almost anything with Adv.S.S. and you could use it to see if you can grab your MIDI you are trying to get with it.
You would want to use the MIDI Macro in the "If" section. The person above was using the MIDI Macro in the 'Then' section.

well there's always bitfocus companion. That can do almost any combination of hotkeys or streamdeck buttons, and applications. Don't even need a streamdeck if you want to just use the emulator the program can run at startup and you will just push a button and the toggling LED you require will happen.
Updated to latest version of this plugin after updating OBS and this plugin stopped working for OBS Apple Silicon. Last working version of this plugin before update was Version 2.3.0. Anyone know how I can go back to Version 2.3 on Mac?
I tried downloading and installing version 2.3, that didn't work. I also tried restoring the plugin folder from a Time Machine backup, that didn't work either. Every time I open OBS it gives me the current (non working) version of this plugin.
