Yo guys !
I'm using OBS Studio to record some videos...
But when i record a video, the video quality is sometimes very, VERY bad... (here is a footage -> https://streamable.com/lfkoe) [At the start of the video, the video quality is very bad, and at the end, it's the normal video quality)
I have pretty good specs but when I'm recording video is too laggy and I can't even edit it... But while I'm recording gameplay looks still 60fps+ and after recording video is like slideshow, I configured it well so I don't know what's the problem

I have been using these settings since last year, thinking there wasn't a way to make the quality look clear. Do I need a better bitrate or something?
I just want to understand an know how this set up will work...

I can't seem to find a fix or a blog for this problem anywhere so I'm making my own. I'm using an ASUS 144hz VG(something or whatever) and I have it plugged in via mini DP. The reviews on the display port says that it runs 144 hz on 1080p (what Im looking for), my PC can run 144, and my monitor...
I have a 144hz gaming monitor and a 2nd 60hz monitor for OBS. A known issue is that having OBS on a different hz monitor can downscale the primary monitor to same hz (My case 144hz down to 60hz) noticing a huge difference when gaming. There is a solution where keeping OBS open on the gaming...

I am posting because I cannot figure out why my games feels sluggish but only when I stream and only with certain games (Fortnite, PUBG, Blackout... Siege and other games are fine). When I say sluggish I mean I'm still getting high frames and the stream isn't laggy but I have to...
I would like to know what my OBS settings should be. I'm running both stream and gaming on one PC and I would like to run a smooth stream without lag or at least minimum lag at 720p 60fps if possible.
My build SPECS are:
Ryzen 5 2600 OC at 3.85GHz
Asus 1060 3GB
16/2x8GB Ram G.Skill OC at...
I seem to always have issues playing games on OBS where it drops frames. Not sure how to correct this and searched around a lot. It's an odd thing because the games I play will set everything to Ultra settings and then when I go to play it and capture it on OBS it won't stay on 60 fps and will...
Whats up OBS community!
Recently I have downloaded OBS to stream Fortnite. My laptop was not ideal for gaming, so i was fortunate enough to gain access to Nvidia Geforce Now. Nvidia Geforce Now, in short words, allows my macbook to mirror gameplay running on Nvidia's gtx computers. So, theres...
Hey, So I've had this problem for a while now!
When I open my games or programs in fullscreen they work perfectly no screen tearing at all..
However, as soon as OBS is launched they all start to screen-tear!
I don't know what information is needed but I will gladly post anything needed!
Recently downloaded OBS Studio and I've adjusted my settings accordingly. Recording is smooth, gameplay is smooth, CPU is fine and data usage on recorded footage is superb. Biggest issue I'm facing, however, is that that colors in recorded footage appear washed out and I don't know what to do in...
I typically stream in 720p60 with a bit rate of 5000 to twitch, however I have streamed 1080p60 and it works fine. When I try to record videos with OBS though, I end up with a very low quality product that lags and is very pixelated. The bitrate I use for videos and have tested was about 30000...
