Faruton submitted a new resource:

Video source plugin - Add video files and other media as sources (anything supported by VLC)

Read more about this resource...

Loving this! Thank you so much!

A feature that I would love to see is more automation.

For example: I have an intro video clip when switching scene, I would love for that video clip to be played and when it's done it should automatcily uncheck in sources so the sources behind it would be displayed.

Now THAT would be amazing! :)

I cant install on OBS 32 bits, on 64 bits works but on 32 bits dont show me the plugin and the video option

you installed the 64bit plugin correctly, and the 32bit you did not.

Both work fine for me :)

Please try reinstalling them correctly, there are two versions to download.

Hi, great plugin!
However I do notice sometimes that with certain video files, they can 'hang up' for a second or two at exactly the same point every time the are looped and then once the video starts playing again, the video gets pixelated and gets weird grey coloured blocks appearing which eventually disappear after 1-2 seconds.

It seems to have happened with wmv format, avi format & mp4 format. Are there specific render settings which need to be met or which you recommend to prevent this from occurring?

Thanks

Hi, I've just installed the plugin but i'm having an issue with it where it won't play the video. The audio comes through fine, but no image appears. I've tried reinstalling OBS, restarting the computer, using different videos, different formats, just about everything i can think of. can anybody help with this?

I got a strange question. I have been using this plugin for a internet radio for gaming music ( http://www.theoldcomputer.com/retro_radio/kohinasolanum.m3u ). Works like a charm but I have found that when I have it set to play to my default audio device that the volume control doesn't work. I think it works fine when I set it to go directly to the stream but I like using it to go to my default so i can hear it while I am playing and so on.

Am I missing something?

I'm using the plug-in to play royalty free MP3s as background and have similar issue, but I'm using "Output to Audio Stream" as the option. No matter what I set the Video Volume slider to, it comes out 100% volume.

Hi,
Great plugin, but i have small problems with rtmp streams.
I use nginx-rtmp in local computers and now if video plugin is on same computer where i run nginx-rtmp, same time - 5-10 seconds freez only video, if get stream from internet all working, if run stream in local network same time work 30 second same times 5h.
I see that - small lags problem with video buffer.

Would it be possible to make a global hotkey for rechecking the files in the playlist so they'll play on command after they've already played once (basically what happens when you open the scene properties and hit ok)?

Not sure wether it's been requested before, but is it possible to get some sort of RBG overlay as an option? I sometimes wish to change colors a slight bit of the video's I put in. Right now I have to jump in, let's say Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects to do this.

Anyway, keep up the good work with this plugin!
