Video source plugin

Add video files and other media as sources (files supported by VLC should work)

  1. Faruton
    Supported Bit Versions:
    • 32-bit
    • 64-bit
    This is a very, very un-alpha video source plugin. (Similar to what the FFMPEG plugin was trying to achieve)

    32bit: http://catchexception.org/plugins/vsp/VSP-1.0-43-ge8f4c57-VLC2X-x86.7z
    -> extract to C:\Program Files(x86)\OBS\Plugins

    64bit:
    http://catchexception.org/plugins/vsp/VSP-1.0-43-ge8f4c57-VLC2X-x64.7z
    -> extract to C:\Program Files\OBS\Plugins

    Added video filter settings for contrast, brightness and gamma.

    Thanks to Tyrrr for adding menuing and setting up libvlc to use various deinterlacing methods as well as adding timestamp smoothing which should alleviate out-of-sync and crackling issues when outputting to stream.

    Let me know if you find any bugs!

    3/5,
    I got everything put exactly where its supposed to go, but the plug in wont load. I've restarted the software multiple times and still nothing. Is a full PC reboot necessary to get it going or is there something preventing the plugin from loading?

    4/5,
    Thanks a bunch. Didn't want to have to go through downloading/converting/uploading/forwarding to get what I needed done. This does it easily. Adios for now.

    Works, but, things I would like to see:
    Chroma key (Please)
    Start/Stop time, so you can choose to begin the video mid-video
