Very basic issue but proving to to go nowhere - I am trying to have OBS recognize Grooveshark audio as it plays live. The problem I am having is that the program, SMG, says there is no audio playing likely because the Groovemarklet button also says there is no audio playing (yes, I'm using the updated link). Everything else seems to work fine, though (Winamp, YouTube, etc.)... Any ideas?

+1 on this. Everything works fine but Grooveshark. I am also using the updated link to Groovemarklet. I can also confirm Groovemarklet shows no songs playing for Grooveshark.

I'm currently using the mIRC plug-in for Winamp to change playing songs for OBS. I would like to use Grooveshark instead only to expand my library beyond tracks I have saved onto my computer... I'd appreciate any assistance the application creator / anyone else has to offer on the matter...

TeeBoard (via last.fm) works with GrooveShark. You can connect grooveshark to last.fm via the grooveshark settings page (http://grooveshark.com/#!/settings/connect).

Hello,
Thank you for developing this resource. I have tried tried two other ways to allow Spotify Song Names and Artists to appear in OBS. Yours is the first one that works, BUT it has a problem for me. It will read the first 2 or 3 songs fine then freeze on the 3rd or 4th song, and never change again...even after restarting Spotify and OBS...same song still appears. Is there any fix for that??

No idea why it would do that. Haven't seen that happen before. There is a log file created for the "now playing" section. Maybe there's information in there that can help clarify the issue. If you don't mind, when it happens again, check the log and post it here: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/teeboard.45/
The log file is located in: [USER DOCUMENTS\]TeeBoard\twobbler\log

I searched the thread briefly and don't see a solution to my issue I'm having. When I use Windows Media Player, the song doesn't update quickly. When I first turn it on it will update, but it doesn't switch with the playlist accurately. Falling a song or 2 behind.

I am using the webplayer at Solayo.com is there any way I can get the song info there to work with your addon?

I have this running for a VLC playlist and it works fine but every now and then, it just stops updating as tracks change and stays 'stuck' on one track. Closing and reopening fixes it, but any idea what could be causing the hang in the first place?

I noticed a similar problem using SMG 1.63 (beta) with Foobar2k 1.1.10 (I don't think the version matters, as your experience confirmed).
Potential reason & fix: The double display only occurs when the "Album" field of the song isn't filled. If it's empty, you'll geta double display. Try filling it, and it might fix it.

Also, thank you Azeirah for your dedication. Your program is very useful, good work !

First of all I'd like to say my appreciation towards Azeirah, awesome app. But my problem is that when I try to use groovemarklet at youtube, it says "www.youtube.com" is not supported. I saw that someone else had the same problem and I tried what Krxz suggested. I use newest Firefox version Win7 64-bit.

If I do as Krxz said: "open smg first.." etc. It says SMG requires Groovemarklet. After I go to youtube and start the marklet, SMG keeps saying I need groovemarklet, but after I restart the app it does say that nothing is playing. I try to open up the marklet and it yet still says "www.youtube.com" is not supported.

I tried it with chrome but the marklet didn't even launch. I checked that I had enabled javascripts and it was fine. So what to do?

Hi, I'm unable to use Grooveshark currently. There seems to be something wrong with the Groovemarklet. While it was working a few weeks ago, currently, when I click on the groovemarklet bookmark, nothing happens. Literally, it's like the button doesn't work, the little "now running press ctrl M to hide" doesn't show up and SMG doesn't react at all.The current address of the bookmark is

and the output is "Internet Radio - Free Music Online".

it didn't work for me on chrome and i just tried other stuff, now i have firefox and saw that this works.. sad enough spotify web player is not supported (yet?)
i would just use the desktop app but the amount of adds after skipping a song or two is just insane

For those who are unable to load groovemarklet on chrome it may be because the way git hub sends the raw data is causing chrome to deny the script from running to fix load it from another source I have it loaded from my blank server and it started working

Hey all, maybe I am doing something stupid here, but I can't get SMG to work with SoundCloud. I have downloaded the newest groovemarklet and have SoundCloud as the active tab, but the program never recognizes that a song is playing. I am running windows 8.1 and the newest version of chrome. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
