Wow! I'm amazed that your app was built with such depth that linking player Player Stock (Images displayed) to a Player Name (text displayed) can already be done. Does the app's abilities extend to Team Colors as well (I added mention of this in an edit to my post)? The Image Select tab outputs the image as the image... while the NAME of the image gets outputted to the text/xml file. So they are linked.
Everything you stated can already be done with the existing app.
I dont see why not... You can use this application to do anything.I'm really a dork at programming so i was wondering if it was possible to make a league of legends "scoreboard" Similar to the one used in proffesional league of legends tournaments. I host quite a few league of legends tournaments so this would be greatly appreciated :)
In the upcoming days, I will be putting some new FAQs together to help new users figure things out. This is a very powerful application, but people are having issues recognizing the breadth of it's abilities. If you appreciate this application, please consider giving it a favorable (5 stars) review here on OBSproject: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/scoreboard-assistant.112/reviews
- There is now a "PC Monitor" tab item. This tab shows some basic cpu performance...
@CubanLegend I solved the SSBM teams thing by doing per-player names, not per-team. It works with Image Select very well:
You could do field checking, but it will require some extra stuff. I do field checking on my own streams, but I do it using CLR Browser, instead of text/image fields. I embed HTML into my stream to handle animation and the like.@CubanLegend I solved the SSBM teams thing by doing per-player names, not per-team. It works with Image Select very well:
Also @Jaxel thank you very much for this program. As you can see in the image above, I put name texts for all the players in the player cams (although none of them can be seen in that screenshot, I haven’t used the new setup yet). All of these names are always the same ones as the 4p player names. Is there a way to make the Lower Thirds (I used that tab for the player cam names) fetch the names from the other scene?
And whenever I try to add external service Twitch, I get appcrash. And whatever account / password combination I enter for hitbox, I get Error 400: Bad Request.
Additionally, is there a way to make the application remember its last used entries? Especially for player names and custom texts. For me, it always starts up blank (but with the drop-down menus filled with my previous entries).
Edit: One more question, is it possible to bind the image select to other text inputs? For example, I’d like to put in all the player backgrounds you can see above in an image select tab and make them disable automatically if the corresponding player name from the 4p tab is set to empty / blank.
If so, how do I set it? (Maybe IF(4p.p1=[]OR[ ]);image=blank.png or something like that?)
This is a really minor request though, I’m just asking whether this is already possible because it would be neat for me.
Confirmed, Fixed for next version. One bug I'm noticing: in 1.08 and 1.09 in the 4player scoreboard, P3 and P4 scores only default to XML output once Scoreboard assistant is restarted, P1 and P2 default to the output method correctly.
Just a quick update that fixes the bug where Score 3 and Score 4 output settings on the 4-player scoreboard are not saved when existing the program.
Are you playing a song? Information is extracted from song information; if the song itself doesn't have the right tags, then it won't be able to get any.I don't understand, how to use Music Player tab. I tried to use Foobar2000 and VLC Player, but I see that. What am I doing wrong?
Yes, music is playing and have tags. Are you playing a song? Information is extracted from song information; if the song itself doesn't have the right tags, then it won't be able to get any.
