Video source plugin (OBS Classic only)

Okay, some people have it working, some people dont. The video plug in worked before the OBS update for me, and now it no longer works. I tried reinstalling the plugin and its there, it knows its there. I can establish a scene full of videos if I want- but NONE OF THEM show up. Nothing makes a sound. I get no visual.

I realize it will work for some of you but for others it isnt. Instead of saying "no it deff works", why not explain if you did anything different. If you didnt, then lucky you. I wish mine worked but it isnt. PLZ HALP.

I've tried the plugin many times and it works fine if i play videos.. or the stream from a cable connected CAM/PC
BUT
With Wireless action cams or wireless camcorders or android IPCAM, i get the PC very slow ( i7@2.1 Ghz 4Gb of RAM and SSD drive)

Did someone tried with smartphones as well??
Thanks

I cannot get the plugin to work once I open OBS 0.656. I have the Browser Source plugin as well, and that plugin works fine. Did I miss a file when I unzipped the Video Source Plugin? I really would like this to work.

Can't get this plugin working. It looks like OBS doesn't see the plugin at all. No errors, no nothing. It doesn't show itself in the plugins list. Like it's not there.
OBS x64 0.656b, plugin VSP-1.0-43-ge8f4c57-VLC2X-x64.

I unpacked all files to the right OBS plugins folder and got there VideoSourcePlugin folder and VideoSourcePluginWrapper.dll file.

UPDATE. Resolved.
Put the right files in the right folder, but kept starting wrong OBS version...

I'm new to OBS and am having an extremely frustrating problem. I know the instructions to download this plugin are simple, but after trying over and over again I still can't get this to work.

As instructed, I'm downloading the 32-bit file, opening with 7Zip, and extracting to the specified path. Any attempts to extract the 64-bit version don't work. After restarting OBS and my PC, still can't see any option for the Video Source Plugin. >.<

Any advice as to what I may be doing wrong? :(

PS: I downloaded the latest OBS update just before attempting to install the plugin. Maybe this is the problem?

Fantastic Plugin!! Some feature requests: move videos up/down playlist, start, stop, pause currently playing video, play time/remaining time of current video.

Thanks so much. Really appreciate this plugin.

Great thing, i love it.

I think there is one thing to add, it's key control.
Selects the key to the play , pause, next , etc. It will be helpfull

Playing a perfectly looping video with the "Playlist looping" option seems to introduce lag when it restarts the video.

Is there a way to avoid or fix this ? Otherwise it'd be great if you could fix that in a future release.

(Any perfectly looping video should let you reproduce this issue, for example https://i.imgur.com/vfZcn3d.gifv)
