You're correct. I'll look into that.
Would that be interesting to you to include as an included template?

Btw in the "groups" file you wrote "Loosers" but it's only written with one O. So correct would be "Losers"
You should correct it with the next update to prevent others having the spell error on their stream and unable to fix. Don't think everyone will open the JSON files.

Thank you. I have corrected the typo.
In the next update I will add more understandable "templates", on the basis of which anyone can make their own theme, even without knowledge of html.

When do you expect the update to drop?
I'll need to create templates for several fighting games, so any way to make it easier would be much appreciated.

This is such an amazing program but for me its missing one single thing...

A Timer / Stop Watch...

I use OBS for live competitions that donțt involve vgs and need some way to keep track of round times. If this could be added it would make this the best Scoreboard program for OBS out.
That and if you can add the ability to read from .txt instead of running a local server.

Despite that, you have done an amazing job with this and a lot have thought has been put in. Excellent work!

I thought about adding a stopwatch, but how to synchronize with real game time? You will need to manually start / stop the timer, and this will lead to desynchronization with real game time.
There are other programs that save data to a text file. It's too limiting, it definitely won't happen.

Hi!! I really love that program. It's so useful and intuitive. I've done some templates myself, but I'd like to contribute with some ideas to improve it.

For example, I miss hotkeys for countdown and for reset counter to 0 (or to the initial number) on streamdeck's plugin. That reminds me that it would be interesting to stablish some "inicial number" so it wouldn't be necessary 0 (but just an idea).

I have a some problems with the StreamDeck plugin... But you can add buttons via standard StreamDeck hotkeys.
Using hot keys, you can increase and decrease the counters up to four players (you can make 8 buttons). I did not complicate the interface by adding a reset button, because you need to reset the counter less often than doing +1. For the initial value, you can enter any number in after the points, it is not necessary to press + -.
A little secret: you can enter text in the scores input field :)

Hi Deviaphan.
Just like modfrenzy I love your program, but also have the same request. I do live-streaming of school sports, and all I need is a simple countdown for each half/chukka. Having to rely on other programs to do this sucks. Please, can you reconsider?
Regardless of outcome, thank you so much for an awesome program. You have already helped me so many others already.

A clock/stopwatch/countdown is planned for the next version. Also hot keys to stop / reset the timer, hot keys to reset the score.
The release date for the new version is unknown. I need to rework the UI and themes.

I am a old retired computer guy that plays in a lot of pickleball tournaments. One of the tournaments asked to find a way to live stream pickleball with name and score. Update score from tablet. I see there is a lot of scoreboard overlays for OBS. That is what I want to do. Don’t mind paying for low cost purchase or consulting . Just want simple, Reliable and easy to train user. Mostly double play, but there are singles. Much like Ping Pong. I am planning on doing this for multiple tournaments and sporting events like HS FOOTBALL. Could you be of service for me. I am spending way to much time on the scoreboard part of this task. I am under a time problem. My first tournament is in October. I need some tech support to make this thing fly and find someone that will help do initial tournament with me.. I want to distribute your software and tech support to my customers. I need to know licensing on purchasing info. What kind of code is used and can I modify easily. I’m not great at coding , but do a little Arduino C++, python, html. I am working on proceeding from here to form a business out of producing Video Streaming for Pickleball tournaments and other sporting events. I need a partner for the scoreboard part of this endeavor. Please let me know you like to part of this and what youn would expect.

from what i can tell, theres no swap button that swaps player 1 and player 2's scores and names and everything. most scoreboard programs used for fighting games have this because players switch sides all the time. with that, this could be pretty perfect

Another scoreboard plugin that does swap players sides is https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/sbe-scoreboard-edit.83/
although this doesnt have any set backgrounds, you have to overlay the text to suit your requirements

but i am not able to get how to do that Finally by seeing your project i am able to get this will be achieved by Socket programming.
