Free Ubiquitous 2 chat + OBS source plugin 2.2

I wanted to start out by saying great tool! I love having chat from multiple sites all in one box making it easier for me to read. I am trying to create my own theme but I was hoping to get some help on a few issues I've ran in to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) When someone enters a new message it shows at the top of the chat and pushes older messages down. I would prefer it to work like chat in Twitch and Hitbox.

2) I would like the time stamp to show but remove the seconds and only show hour and minute.

3) Channel owner and mod icons are not showing up next to the usernames.

added twitch chat (full details) all ok
added hitbox chat (full details) all ok
added connectcast chat (full details) app then freezes, cant click anything on it, memory usage goes to 100mb in task manager it does not say not responding though

end tasked it

reloaded all settings gone, started again same result, this time right clicked icon on task bar and choose close all, it did eventually (5 to 10 minutes)

reloaded, this time straight to the freeze

any idea how to fix?

Steam is on the list. They changed protocol completely so I need to write it from scratch now.

..didn't you have to do that before?

So ubiquitous broke (then got abandoned), ubiquitous2 came out and worked for reading messages (did writing ever work?), then broke again and now we're in the same situation?

At this point I guess I need to run games borderless and have chat on a secondary monitor. The steam integration was the sole reason I used this tool in the first place.

@codex Emotes broken now in the on screen chat and web chat. Not sure if it you or maybe twitch changed it's urls or something. Comes up like this....

Having the same issue, not with all twitch emoticons, but with the majority.

As far as I see Connectcast chat is broken. It seems they changed something. I'll check it.
You can disable it in config file with notepad or just delete Documents\Ubiquitous2\Default.settings and restart the app

I will fix it for sure. And I want to create PlayClaw plugin to get chat as overlay in any game.

About PlayClaw Plugin, did you ever consider making it a or additional Overwolf ( http://www.overwolf.com/ ) plugin.

Many users already have this due to native Teamspeak 3 support and integration.

It has quiet an easy API:

Connectcast is fixed. They changed everything: ports, http protocol, websocket protocol, chat protocol.... just everything o.O

Just so you know, playclaw and overwolf both kind of break crossfire or corrsfire breaks thier overlay- not sure if you care, but that is the reason I wish steam overlay worked with this program, since the steam overlay is the only overlay that works correctly in crossfire.

Bad news about Steam. They changed policy of chat usage. Now to use the web chat you need to spend $5 on some games :/

Hi, everytime i am adding beam.pro to my chats it stops working and freez.
never had problems with this great software before.
I am using Win8.1 64bit version.

There was a bug. If you specify wrong login/password it could freeze.
And please don't use email as login, use your nickname instead. I'll fix email login later.

I am pretty sure most of us wouldn't mind spending $5 for this functionality. If it only entails buying a game on the bot account, would it work>? I could gift you a $5 game on steam if you want to test it.

Please try to delete/rename settings file (Documents\Ubiquitous2\Default.settings) and try again.

New version released today.
Changes/fixes:
- gaming.tv chat added;
- twitch tv /me messages displayed properly now;
- beam.pro doesn't replace emoticons with URLs anymore.

Spent $5.59 and bought a game for my bot account.
Trying to send a message via web chat:

*OK let's RTFM*

*Cool! I can gift something to my primary account and get the chat! Buying a game for $50...*
