Hey guys.
First of all, excuse my bad English because I am German, I’ll do my best!
So, my problem is that when I am streaming on Twitch using OBS, my game (Fortnite) is lagging very hard. I already tried to lower the stream quality to 720p and 30 fps, but it still doesn't work as it normally should.
So here are my OBS settings and hardware:
bitrate: 3500
rescale output: 1280*720p with 30 fps
I use an Elgato HD60 Pro Capture Card and my PC has an i7 6700k processor and a GTX 970 Strix.
The problem shouldn't be my hardware, but also not my internet speed, because I have at least 9 Mbit upload, and that should really be enough to stream with at least 1280p.
I am currently running a Qos guideline, so that my whole PC is running over DSL+LTE to reach a good upload speed, and my game is running only over DSL, so that my ping is lower. This should work, but it doesn’t.
There should be some pictures of the guideline in the attachment (it is in german but the english settings are similar).
If I am running the guideline, my ping is nearly perfect, but the Game is lagging and so is the stream.
If I am NOT running the guideline, the Stream is running perfectly and the game is not lagging, but my ping is horrible, and who wants to stream if you can't play properly...
I really hope someone has an idea how to solve my problem. Streaming with a bad ping is just really annoying.
See you and have a nice day
