Question / Help (Question) Game capture recording drops FPS ONLY (Rec. Apex Legends)

One day upon recording apex legends my obs would instantly drop its FPS to below 20 (from a steady 30). I changed no settings on my OBS, Nvidia graphics settings or in-game settings. Here is a log file of a failed game capture recording https://obsproject.com/logs/Qa7fK1ke7AMODXP2

Since discovering the issue i tried uninstalling and reinstalling obs, using streamlabs obs, changing nvidia, obs and in game settings and all got the same negative result. This change seemingly happened overnight as my previous recording recorded at 30 fps with no issues.

What happened overnight was your Windows 10 updated to 17763 (1809)

Thank you for your speedy response!

I disabled ALL gaming features in windows and disabled full screen optimization within my games' properties and it yielded the same results https://obsproject.com/logs/jBJAe2WnqfRqQUtr
