@ALL

here is a video with OBS Studio v0.14.2 with AMD VCE (with "custom-settings")

http://benmanshafen.de/pics/OBS/OBS_Studio_0.14.2_Bitrate.mp4

you think it looks good? it does!
you think you can stream it? you CAN'T!

here you clearly see why we still need Jackun's OBS VCE fork:
Bitrate-check_OBS_Studio_0.14.2_AMD_VCE.jpg

ps twitch.tv only allows up to 3500kbps and a max peak ~4800kbps -> here we have 16437kbps peak

@resonansER

you CANT STREAM with OBS Studio VCE - because of the high peaks that it produce (seen in last picture) -> so you need Jackun's OBS VCE fork for streaming

yet again i post the settings for 95% of all STREAMERS (720p30)

maybe reduce audio-bitrate to 128
OBS_VCE_codec_settings_3500kbps.jpg

OBS_VCE_encoder_settings_IPP6.jpg

these fit most scenes and game-types

you NEED min 7mbit upload

@Benman2785, thank you SO MUCH for your detailed answer!
I've internet connection in 1 Gbit\sec. And I use exactly Jackun's OBS VCE fork for streaming. I want stream on youtube and\or twitch. In this case which parameters I must set?

Yes, full-duplex.Up\Down 1Gbit\sec.

where do you live and how much do you pay for it? here i will get a 400mbit down + 25mbit up for 75eur per month (Germany)

ON_TOPIC:
if you stream on twitch max bitrate is 3500kbps && on youtube its 9000kbps ->

twitch: 1080p30 (or 720p60) max
yt: 1080p60 max (but you cant stream that on twitch (if u want to stream simultaneosly))

Trying to record and or stream with the OBS VCE download, I have the latest version and everytime I attempt to stream and or record OBS crashes. This may have been answered before but the thread is so large I can't find a response. My GPU is an XFX r9 390

1080p60 min bitrate 35000 -> better use 50000
1440p60min bitrate 52000 -> better use 65000
(have in mind HDDs can handle ~120000-150000 bitrate - but IF GAME IS ALSO ON HDD 65000 should be max bitrate)

quality-gcn1.2+.png

all for 60 FPS
maybe use GOP of 30 (as youtube recommend if 60 fps)

if 30 FPS use IDR of 60 and GOP of 30

but YOU CANT STREAM THAT!

Thanks for the help Benman2785.

The Use CBR option still remain checked after I unchecked it many times, any ideas to force it to unchecked?

did you "apply" the settings?

EDIT: it was my fault -> what i mentioned is set in AMD VCE Encoder and not in Codec ;)

mh sounds strange - maybe try constrained QP or Peak-constrained VBR -> both should give a nice Videoquality

do you use latest driver?
