Hi,

I always wanted to stream and I finally came round to it. I have a dual pc setup with a Avermedia LGP Lite and OBS Studio/StreamElements however, I installed all the software for the LGP Lite(RECentral & Stream Engine as well as the Drivers&Firmware) and the gaming pc's screen does pop up in RECentral. It does pick up in OBS as Avermedia Capture 835C, but it only gives me a black screen and not the screen capture like in the Avermedia Software.

I have tried the 32bit OBS, I have tried uninstall and re-installing everything.
I also have tried adjusting the 3D settings on my Nvidia Card on my streaming pc.

Please I need help.

Same problem-have viewed multiple tutorial videos on YouTube, have uninstalled and re-installed OBS Studio, have changed a bunch of settings in my computer so either Studio or Streamlab would use my GeForce GT 730 card, and still have black screen where my 3 source cameras, wired directly into the computer, should be. It does actually show my Logitech camera, USB connected. Please help!

OBS is unable to access your camera.

Possible reasons:
  • Security feature
  • Antivirus software
  • Misconfiguration (resolution, framerate selected in OBS not supported by device
  • Device in use by another application
You've got "camera 2" and "camera 3" in here-- you can only have one instance (combination of device + settings) in an OBS scene collection at one time. You can have copies (references) to that configuration in multiple scenes, but if you try to address the same device with different settings in the same scene or scene collection, they will stomp on each other and stop working.

There are multiple configurations for a 920 webcam in this log.

There are no attempts to add an LGP Lite.

That log has the same issue. OBS tries to access the device but cannot.

14:32:15.923: DShow: GetFilterByMediumFromMoniker: BindToObject failed (0x800705AA): Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.
14:32:15.923:
14:32:15.926: DShow: Encoded Device: Failed to connect device to demuxer
14:32:15.926: Video Capture Device 2: device.SetVideoConfig failed
14:32:15.926: Video Capture Device 2: Video configuration failed

The above seems to indicate either OBS does not have permission to access the device (prevented by security feature, antivirus/security software, or exclusivity-- other software is using the device. Video devices are exclusive, only one program can access at a time.

I am not sure why you are running 32 bit OBS. Is there a reason?

Hi,

I seemed to find the fix for my PC.

First of all, make sure what OS you have as well as what GPU you are running.

I went into my radeon settings and I disabled my HDMI insurance and I turned off my HDCP support in my settings. Not sure what it is in the Nvidia Systems.

Good luck!

Figured out the issue. OBS was unable to capture video from my AVerMedia 2 Plus while AVerMedia RECentral is open. Closing RECentral made the capture card display properly in OBS, although it had no sound.

Im running a 6700xt with lgp lite.
If anybody still has the problem, what worked for me was:

disable hdcp

i hope its fine to post this otherwise i can describe it only a few steps
