Move 3.1.1

Hey everyone! Really loving this plugin Exeldro, it's one of my faves! I just wanted to make this post because I recently updated Move to the latest version so that I could use the NVIDIA AR filter for some face tracking. I'm not sure what version of Move I was on before, but it would be a fairly old one at this point. Anyways, almost everything worked great after I updated, but the update seems to have introduced a minor glitch to the one scene transition I have that uses a Move transition (I'm using the transition table, so I have different transitions between different scenes). I've attached a video via the link below to demonstrate, but essentially the issue is that the transition moves my webcam too far to one side and then snaps it back to the correct position once the transition has ended.

I used one of Nutty's tutorials from a while ago to crop and round/sharpen the corners of my webcam in-between scenes, and I think I've narrowed the issue down to being some kind of conflict between Move and the crop filter. I did have a similar issue to this before I updated, but I had transition caching enabled and after one or two transitions after I launched OBS it worked perfectly, however now the problem just persists even with caching enabled and I'm not sure what to do about it. Also if it matters, my webcam source on both scenes is a nested scene. Any help would be hugely appreciated, thank you!!

My OBS setup using Move Source no longer works with this update. It's been deleted from my existing setup, and when trying to add it back I get "This filter only works on scenes and groups". What is the new recommended way to move an element in OBS in response to audio input?

Found this plugin from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tE77zhylQk , love the typing effect but the fact that the text has to be set within the filter limits its functionality. Any chance of having that effect work with the source's default text, so that the source text could be updated in Streamerbot > Made visible > Filter typing effect applied?

@Exeldro after updating the Audio Move filter was completely gone is what I meant, I already had a working config based on Audio Move, and it was deleted from my audio sources and from my filter list. The only filter from the pl;ugin I had was Move Source.

Uninstalling completely and reinstalling brought it back though. Not sure what caused it, but in case anyone else has this same issue and finds it via google that's what fixed it for me.

I have installed Move using the Windows installer executable. However, the Move Transition option does not appear when I click the '+' in the Scenes Transition area. The files seem to be in the right location. I closed down OBS and re-opened it before trying to instantiate Move Transitions and I just can't make it happen. Any ideas I can try? Yes, I'm brand new to OBS, so I apologize ahead of time if this is a stupid question.
Thanks.

I uninstalled and reinstalled. Move is behaving as expected now. Thanks for the quick response. Can you point me to a consolidated document that explains how to use Move? It would help me avoid the multitude of rabbit holes I've gone down in figuring out the various functionality in OBS.

So I'm trying to figure out how to get streamer bot to use a variable while using the move variable filter to give the typewriter effect. Can anyone offer some insight?

Afaict this isn't possible right now, since the typewriter effect uses the text that's supplied within the filter, and Streamerbot currently doesn't support adjusting filter settings, only turning them on or off

Any ideas why it would not install on a MacBook Pro 2018 (2.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5)? This is the warning I get on the arm64.pkg

Hello hello!
I absolutely adore the Move plugin! Question, though: with 3.0.0 I'm not seeing Audio Move as a filter. Was it moved/renamed? Am I overlooking it?

Hello,

I'm trying to trigger Move Source automatically when a source is being displayed or hidden.
The source has a transition of 1000ms applied on it (obs>display and hide transition).
I want to start both the transition and the Move filter at the same time.

For display, I use the Move source option "Source Activate: when the source becomes actively shown in the final mix" and it works fine. Both the move and transition are triggered at the same time.

For hide, the Move source triggers only AFTER the transition, when the source is ALREADY hidden, not when it deactivate.
Is there a way to trigger the Move source right when the "eye" icon in OBS is being hidden, not the picture, so at the start of the transition ?

I tried:
"Source deactivate: When the source becomes not active, so not showing in the final mix"
"Source Hide: when the source is not showing anywhere"
I think both are doing the same thing, while Source deactivate is what I expected to work.

Shouldn't it work like that ?
Source deactivate should trigger first, when the eye icon in OBS is being hidden, when it "becomes" not active and at the start of the transition.
Source hide should trigger at the end, when the picture is not visible anymore, after the transition ends.
I came here for this same question. Is there a way to trigger a move action based on showing/hiding a source with the eye icon?
