I am hving problems with the latest update. My setting list keeps showing up like this. With the older version it was fine. Any ideas what the problem is?

I've tried to uninstall and reinstall it, no change.

Additionally, an error message keeps showing up with the inbuild laptop camera. Any idea how this can be set to ignored or accept so it doesn't keep showing up.

Thanks, Thorsten
Hi Thorsten,

this looks like rendering of the whole UI has issues. Now as stupid as this may sound: when have you last rebooted?

Thanks for doing the test. CamooZ can only change camera settings if they are changeable, meaning the driver supports changing values like e.g. exposure or brightness via the DirectShow API.

Looks like your EOS does not provide that, hence the original dialog shows all greyed out, and CamooZ would not even list it.

Works as designed... :-)
OK, thanks - and too bad for me.

All of my desktop files got transferred to OneDrive and that messed with the Camooz settings. I have recovered my Saved Profiles but I am unable to find a way to import them into the Camooz program. Any ideas??

If I remember well from a previous case you can tell OneDrive that it should keep the folder

c:\users\YOURNAME\documents\camooz6

local.

Hope this helps

I ended up saving a new profile and found that folder and copied all the saved profiles from the OneDrive folder over to it and was able to utilize it that way.

Thanks for the response.

Update:
That didn't work after I shut my PC down and turned it back on. I ended up reinstalling Camooz and the profiles automatically loaded into the application.

Will the driver work on the Logitech PTZ pro 2 camera, which is on a USB connector?
Hi dawono,

I haven't played with that model, but you can figure it out eazily and for free. Just download CamooZ and try. All CamooZ functions will work in the non-paid version except saving to profiles - and any cam setting the driver supports (e.g. in the DirectShow camera dialog as provided by OBS) will be adjustable with CamooZ as well.

Only if all works to your liking, you may consider buying a license key ;-)

Cheers

When my PC loads (with Camzoo 7.4.2) the dialog appears on the screen instead of hiding in tray after start (as set below):

Are there registry settings I can check to make sure it is being set?

I started using Camooz today, and got some questions:
(1) I can change the order of sliders, and lock slider values, but only for the currently selected webcam. Any way to copy that to the other cams (I have 7 of them)? Maybe a toggle button "apply to all cams" where every action I do is applied to all cameras at once (locking sliders, moving them around...) for as long as that button is down?
(2) It takes many seconds when I change a slider, or load a profile, or change a camera, before the app responds again. It is frozen all that time. Is that normal, or is it my particular webcam (Anker C200)? For example, loading an existing profile takes 9 seconds. Using the DirectShow system dialog on the other hand works very smoothly.
(3) Is there a way to hide sliders that I don't want to see?
(4) A "stay on top" for the GUI window would be extremely useful, so that it can be above OBS at all times
(5) most of the time, the save button is disabled, even when I lock sliders or do other things that I was hoping to save in the profile. Somehow they are saved separately somewhere (this is an extension of my first question, I guess)?
(6) a "reset" action for each slider would be useful, where for example double clicking a slider would reload its value from the current profile.
(7) right-clicking the system tray icon pops up the menu, but it's behind Windows 11's extended system tray list window. One first needs to fold down the system tray list before one sees Camooz' full popup menu. The popup menu of OBS for example shows on top of the system tray list, not behind it.

I could go on, but the fact that every little thing I do takes so very long to take effect, definitely takes its toll on my enthusiasm... Even just starting the program takes around 30 seconds before the window finally has contents. Choosing a different camera takes 9 seconds. Etc.

Anyhow, thank you for the program, I'm sure everyone is very happy with it, but unfortunately at this point I'm not one of them :( I really hope so much that this speed problem can be fixed.
Hi @rdhoore108,

I have exactly the same issue (2) with my Anker PowerConf C200. Did you find a workaround with Camooz or settle with Serious Webcam Settings? I like Camooz for its StreamDeck integration but the delay is frustrating. Thanks in advance!
