I have success running OBS on my PC but not so much my MacBook as it tends to be overloaded from everything.
I’m looking to stream around the house with a microphone plugged into the MacBook, use my phone camera as a browser camera and send all this to the PC...
I need help here!! Ok so basically what I want to do is connect my Nintendo switch to my MacBook Air, I bought a HDMI capture card and downloaded obs. when I connected everything nothing would show up, the word “device” would light up from red to white indicating it was connected but the screen...
So I was checking the logs (troubleshooting a plugin) when I noticed the following entry during OBS's startup procedure:
Rosetta translation used: true
Does this mean my OBS is still running on Rosetta? If so, how can I fix this? I'm also getting choppy recordings when running 2 OBS...
OBS Repeatedly crashes on the mac and I do not know why.
Deleting the scenes folder doesn't work for me, it keeps crashing.

As some of you have already noticed, it is now possible to use StreamFx as an Apple user. Although I followed the steps and checked them 3 times ... I was unable to get StreamFx to work. Has anyone already had a positive result?

OBS isn't seeing either go my ext soundcards native Instrumens audio 2 or Saffire 6 on 'desktop audio, but is on Mic/Aux (at half volume)... WHY?

Im new to OBS and Im learning how to add sources. When i got to add my zoom or skype as a source via display and window capture, i dont have the option for zoom. I have a Macbook Air (2019). How do i fix this (null) message on the different sources?

I am trying to connect my iPad Pro (4th gen) to OBS via the Apple USB-C - HDMI adapter and the Elgato HD60 S. I can sometimes get it to connect for a few seconds at most, but it inevitably drops and gives me "no signal".

Audio works for iPad in OBS, just video is out.
To solve I:
Checked firewall for allowance
Checked Ethernet (turned off and on)
Made sure iPad and computer were on same WiFi
i always recorded with the prores encoder which totally work fine..

I'm using iMac 5K 2019 (i9 9900K, Radeon Pro 580X, RAM 64GB) at my church.
When I go into settings,
I could see X264, Apple VT H264 Software Encoder and Hardward Encoder.
But when choose hardware encoder, it showed error and couldn't use it.
