Question / Help What settings should I use to increase the quality of my videos? Recordings end up choppy while I'm on a good PC and gameplay is smooth.

Your GPU is overloaded and OBS is unable to render frames in time.

21:59:08.412: Output 'simple_file_output': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 30505 (25.4%)

You are also overloading the encoder, which in your case is also your GPU:

21:59:08.426: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 42206/120299 (35.1%)

21:25:43.048: psycho_aq: true

This feature causes the encoder to use more GPU resources. You may wish to start by turning this off. 1080p60 on demanding content in a single PC configuration can be challenging; you may need to cap your framerate if you have not already done so.

19:34:11.423: Running as administrator: false

Running OBS as admin may help.

19:34:11.423: Game DVR: On

Turning this Windows feature off may help.

Thanks a bunch! It works perfectly now after I changed my games framerate to a definite 60 and lowered the graphics settings. Then giving OBS admin powers helped out alot too. Thanks dude!
