When using OBS, my webcam intermittently freezes and lags when I play Fortnite - both on stream and for local recordings. Can’t figure this out, been an issue for a month now (since I got PC). Drivers updated, OBS updated but still the webcam lags. Have tried lowering fps and Fortnite settings, disabling HAGS, running OBS as administrator etc. Only an issue when I play Fortnite (camera is fine when I do display capture on Google Chrome). My PC is good enough where I shouldn’t need to change to performance settings (which haven’t even made a difference to the lag). Key thing is the gameplay never lags or freezes, just the camera. Issue occurs with both display and game capture. Tried recording camera feed outside of OBS with Fortnite open and no lag so assuming its a weird quirk or interaction between OBS and Fortnite? (have tested with GTA V and no issues btw)
Using Elgato Facecam Neo at the moment but had same issue when using my iPhone 12 via Camo. Wired connected to usb port on my motherboard.
