It seems that (after restarting my computer) it's fixed... really weird... thanks though. I'll keep that program in mind if something else acts up!

It could happen if you overclock your CPU. In that case I would recommend to do some overclock stability tests

I can't seem to get youtube chat working... Channel name is Kombowz Gamez or KombowzGamez.

is it because it's two words? Can you fix that?

I have KombowzGamez in the field in the app

KombowzGamez is correct. Could you please try to write a message via web ui before starting the application?
Personally I didn't use it with youtube yet. Though test channels work fine atm.

I tried it on a few channels, one or two of them worked just fine, and others with spaces in the name seem not to work? I'm not sure if this is a coincidence or not but I'm not sure. It's not working on my test stream either so...

I REALLY need this for youtube, if possible please check into why it may not be working.

I also notice that the program doesn't need a login / user name or anything for youtube, is that right?

My Channel is actually "Kombowz Gamez" with a space in the middle. I believe the spaces are what's causing it not to work with any channel that contains spaces...

Hey codex, great job on this! I love it! Just a few requests from my end:

- I currently use this as a chat overlay for my monitor that plays games so that the chat is easier for me to keep track of. One thing that I would love to have is the option to change what hot key is used to focus on the chat window.
- One more thing I would like is the option to clear the chat screen. Maybe a right-click on the chat would give such an option to do so.

Anyway, this software is perfect for me since keeping an eye on chat is something I struggle with a lot. For this, I thank you.

For some reason this isn't working for Twitch right now, but it was working earlier today =\
EDIT: I think I found the problem.. Ubiquitous (2 copies) are still running in the background and wont close through task manager, or even cmd prompt.

It could happen if it crashed or if you ran second instance. I will add additional option to check if it running already.

It quite difficult to implement google authorization so it work in read only mode currently.
I'm using username to get chat messages so space shouldn't be a problem. I have to test if further..

Hot key isn't a problem. Code is there already.
Right-click option is good idea. I'll implement it.

BTW currently it keep 500 messages at once to limit memory usage. Same for web ui.

Could you please clarify it ? Did you get any crashes ? Is there high CPU load ?
Ofc!
Ye, It used like 14-18% CPU usage, Maybe more.
It didnt crash, it felt like i would but it surived. but due overload i had to restart it and it was good for a moment, and then the same again.

Maybe somekind of CPU leak?

Do you use latest ClickOnce version or portable ? I fixed high CPU load in latest version.
It shouldn't take more than 1-2% even if there lot of spam. I just checked it with ~12000 viewers.
Also it take additional 1-2% for OBS plugin. So 4-5% is worse scenario.

There could be high CPU load if you receive multiple animated gifs at once.
Does it start to lag over some time period or right on start ?

I used the installer..

I only had a few viewers at that time,
Chatting in a normal way, and i dont use the OBS plugin.

Overtime, maybe 15minutes.

I will try some more tonight and these next comming days, and i will have an eye on it so i can give you some more info.

I just tried and spamming the chat myself, CPU load at 13%.

Well CPU is more than enough. Could you please check if it lag over 15-30 seconds after start.
Right after start it runs few heavy tasks in background (parsing urls of 15K twitch icons, followers, viewers etc...) so it can take ~10-15%.
But it shouldn't take too long.
