I did look, but asking here in case I missed something, is there a hotkey or something to change the song source? for example, my main tuna use is for VLC stuff, I use snip when playing mp3s, it would be cool to use adv-ss to switch to MPD when on a mp3 source and back to VLC when playing video.
 
Hi all, Is there a way to decrease the time it takes for Tuna to switch the text titles? The album cover on my overlay changes almost instantly but the text / progress bar takes like 5-10 seconds to update.
 
Hello guys, i've been using Tuna for a while and was still on 1.8.2.

Because of an issue in refreshing tokens causing OBS to crash literally, i upgraded Tuna to the latest version. Since then, got the same issue as @wyatttrix above, meaning that Tuna doesn't display in "tools" tab anymore.

I'm on OBS 29.1.3, upgraded VLC to the latest version and got no logs about it. Still got the "module... tuna.dll not loaded" log in OBS logs.

I did some reseach before typing in the topic, i've got the last VC version in x64 installed.
I don't know what's from, attaching the last logs of mine.

I think you have to use the "window title" tab for a browser... I honestly don't know because I don't use it for that....

Be sure to select it in "song source" under the "basics" tab as well.

I did so, but she doesn't see the browser. I tried chrome yandex and edge, it's useless

Did you do the final step of hitting "add new" on the basics tab, under "Song Info Outputs"?

Set a directory for the text file at top, at bottom type in {title} and hit OK.

Play a song in your browser, while its playing open the text file you pointed to above. If its
working it shows the song title, if not it likely says "No Song Playing" or empty.

I set everything up right away, the only problem is the choice of browser, tuna does not see them((

Update OBS to the latest version. Older versions are not supported by the plugin.

Your browser needs to support windows media control and it needs to be actively playing audio for it to show up.
 
Hello, I saw this and I wanted to try, however, I am not sure how to download it on Nobara (fedora) since I only see the installer being only available for debian.

I play my music through an OBS Media Source, which is pointed to a folder with the music files in it. It doesn't seem Tuna supports this, or am I missing something?

You'll have to compile the plugin from source.

Not natively but if it supports windows media control then tuna can get the metadata through that API.

I don't think the media source has a way of retrieving meta data from the currently playing file.
 
hey, since the last cpl updates, the OBS plugin doesn´t show covers and tracks playing anymore. In tampermonkey it says theres no update available
 
Good evening. Help with this problem. I set the Tune, but in Control. Windows media he doesn't see more than one player. ( Standard Windows, foobar2000, Media Player Classic home cinema "MPC-HC", AIMP, Yandex Music) I chose everything correctly. There was music playing everywhere. I'm attaching a screenshot.

Hi! I'm loving what Tuna does and it's working almost perfectly for me, however I'm having one issue - the cover image file is being updated by Tuna in my file explorer, but OBS isn't updating the image as it changes. Do you know of any reason why this might be? So a new track will start, the cover.png file will update, but OBS will continue to show the same image.

Other than that it's working perfectly and I would love if this could be resolved!
 
Does anyone else have an issue with Tuna not refreshing at the specified interval? I have it set to 200ms for the {time_left} in one text file, but it hiccups and skips seconds frequently.
 
any updates for deezer support?
Tuna in OBS doesn´t show anything anymore when playing music via deezer in firefox.
 
I have Tuna Version 1.9.9-HEAD (c7ec836) just installed. OBS STudio is also updated to latest version 30.2.3.

I have created scene not nested, and then added VLC source with few audio fuiles. That works fine.

When I get into tune to set VLC needed scene is in the list so i select it. When i click on add I get "Source or scene not valid!". Clicking Refresh did not help.

What I am doing wrong?
