Hello guys,

could someone please help me out on how to change the time of the notification to be displayed? I need the longest possible. I'm just wondering as the default time set already exceeds 10 seconds but in the html there is a note that they shouldn't be longer than that for everything working properly.

Thanks in advance!

Tim

You can not change the displayed time of the notifications. Why would you need it to be longer?

@DeezjaVu , first of all thanks for all your hard work. This is a really handy tool and with a couple of additional features it will be able to compete with the latest and greatest similar tools out there. A donation from me will be heading your way after my next paycheck :)

The notification widgets are hard to configure if you want something fancy, but even for people with limited JS/CSS knowledge they can be a blast to toy with with a little Google-Fu :)

No offense, but AFAIK, there is no other tool quite like TeeBoard currently out there.

That's why there is a simple version (the non js/css version), so that people without js/css skills can still enjoy notifications.

I'm looking to alter/add some Javascript into the text of the 'Now Playing' feature, but can't seem to find any files associated with Twobbler. Am I missing something? Searches brought me nothing.
I'm in love with TeeBoard. It pretty much contains everything I'd ever looked for and your instructional videos have been a tremendous help.

There's no real widget for the "Now Playing" section, not in a way there is for Notifications for instance. Music info is simply written to a text file which you then add to OBS/XSplit directly. There's no html file involved like with most other widgets, thus no javascript.

What exactly are you wanting to do?

Make sure to use the widgets from the correct location (user documents, not install dir) and prefix the path(s) to the widget html file with http://absolute/ in the CLR Browser source properties.

Ok, I will admit that I haven't read through all of the replies in this forum, however I have googled the hell outta this, but I'm afraid I am going to have bother you fine people for an answer....

Is there any way to have TB write the follower notifications to the text file in the same case as the user has stated? At the moment it is only writing them to the .txt file in uppercase and I would like to remove that if possible. I don't mind going into css or whatever to do so, but I just can't seem to find out where to go!

Sorry for the awfully nub question but I'm having trouble getting the follower and donation notifcations to work. I read the first page where someone had an issue, but it doesnt seem to be the same.
As i, the notification works when I click test, and shows up in browser, and in OBS. However, when someone actually follows, nothing happens..no sound and no notification icon.
I will click test again, and the sample notification goes off without a hitch.

Have watched your videos also...and am pretty sure I followed it correctly..but if you could shed some light..perhaps I missed something :<

I was going to attempt to have the scrolling artist-song-album text fade out on either end. Would there be any way to do this?

Make sure the Follower toggle switch at the bottom left is set to "ON". If it already is, make sure your system clock is set correctly (timezone, etc..) as that is being used to compare timestamps.

You'd have to do this via javascript/css, including the scrolling of the text itself, but in my experience that doesn't work very smoothly. Scrolling text via CLR Browser is very jittery.

Best thing I can think of is to put an image (solid color) behind the scrolling text and then put another on top of the scrolling text which is transparent in the middle and fades to the background color at the sides (I hope that makes sense). Will take like 2 minutes to set that up.

Not sure if this is the right place for idea suggestions, but it'd be cool to be able to output the current viewer count to a txt file to show on stream.

Seems like it would be an easy thing to do since Teeboard already keeps track of this. I don't know programming hardly at all or I'd do it myself. There are other solutions for this, but I'd rather use Teeboard exclusively if I can.

Thanks again for this tool.

This can indeed quite easily be done. The issue however is that it wouldn't be all that "up-to-date" as the viewer count is part of the "stats", which is only updated every 5 minutes or even slower depending on what the user selected.

I may be missing something stupid, and if so I apologize.

I have the teeboard irc chat thing up and working well, except the blacklist. I have nightbot and our loyalty bot added to the blacklist to ignore displaying them on the embedded chat teeboard shows.

Nightbot doesn't show up, but my loyalty bot does with an asterisk before it in the chat.

Any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong? I have the name spelled right, and I am assuming capitalization doesn't matter because the teeboard filter only shows it in lowercase.

If you let me know which channel and the name of the bot, I can have a look. The bot is most likely sending messages as "/me" and those may need special treatment for blacklisting.
