Having a weird issue. I can get the IRC chat widget working in OBS, but it doesn't actually use the settings I apply to it. If i change the font size, background alpha, turn off time stamps, etc...it doesn't change?

It shows the changes in the preview window, but not in OBS? Worked fine up until I wanted to stream today, not sure what changed. Also cannot change CLR to SingleProcess nor can I find the Shockwave Flash in Plugin Collections even though it has been installed. Really confused

Make sure to select the widget from the correct location, which is your "User Documents", not the TeeBoard install dir. You can open the correct location by clicking the folder icon at the top right of each tab.

That's the one I have been using, and just out of curiosity I tried the one located in Program Files/Teeboard - but it's the same. Both widget html files do the same thing.

What I don't get is that it will show the changes in the preview window every time, it's only in OBS the changes do not show. I even verified by opening up the link being used in CLR Browser Source in Google Chrome and the changes also show there correctly. It's just in OBS, almost like CLR Browser is ignoring that config.xml file.

Always use the widgets from your "User Documents" folder though.

That is weird. Can you make sure the Flash player for "other browsers" is installed?

Yup, that is installed on my system. I uninstalled it and reinstalled as well. Also deleted the CLR Browser plug ins and reinstalled those as well.

I know it has to be setup correctly because if I hit "clear" in the Teeboard window - the chat clears. It seems to be only the formatting isn't being used. (Fade time, user color, font size, etc.)

Make sure the config.xml file isn't open (like in Notepad) as that will prevent TeeBoard from writing to it. It should not prevent the widget in OBS from reading the file though.

Ok, think I found the problem.. Make sure to prefix the path to the chat widget with http://absolute/

If you use the browse button "?" in the CLR Browser source to select the chat html file, it will automatically add the prefix.
Looks like this is a bug with the new CLR Browser plugin.

Hello DeezjaVu !
I started using Teeboard yesteday, and to be honest , it blows everything else out of the water, but i have a question to ask, Is it possible to add a new text file in the notification file ? for example we already have last follow/donate, but i was wondering if i can add something like subgoal that tracks the number of the follower and not his name (e.g 1/25 ), thank you some much for the amazing work

Follower/sub/donation goals are something in the making. No ETA but it's on my to-do list.

@DeezjaVu I tried downloading the program on 10/6/2014 and I get adobe error 0
Can you help thanks.

This usually happens when Adobe AIR isn't installed correctly.

From the Adobe AIR troubleshooting page:

Important: Microsoft has released a new utility called Fix it that can help resolve many AIR installation problems. When running the Fix it tool, go through the uninstall process and remove Adobe AIR from your system. Once finished, download and install the latest version of Adobe AIR.

Downloaded it, extracted it, installed it. Went to plug in my twitch info to start using it and it just deletes the feilds and does nothing.

Even when I try to "sign up" it does the same thing. I know I am not doing anything wrong. Even when I purposefully put in the wrong info, it just clears the fields and does absolutely nothing.

You're one of the lucky few to run into a Twitch authorization bug. You'll have to authorize manually as outlined in this document:

Has been reported to Twitch months ago and they're "investigating" it.

Loving this program! So handy and has everything I need.

Question though, how would I go about setting up my donation list? I've added my imraising account, API etc and my donations have been detected - > toggled the save to text file...but when I open the text file, it's empty. Am I missing a step?

Which text file are you looking at? "donations-latest.txt" should be populated with the last 5 donations. "donations-last.txt" will have the last one. Top donations are only populated if the service actually provides that data, which imraising and streamtip do no. If you want that data to be available via their API, go ask them for it.

I'll be adding 2 more services in the next update. One of them being twitchplus.com, which does provide top donation data and is 100% free.

I'm just in need of the latest donations, which is showing up empty. Actually all text files except the donations are working perfectly (followers etc)

edit: Hmm...I uninstalled completely, and redid my settings. Still no go for donations. Interestingly, when everything was set up, and i simply removed and readded my imraising account, my text files populated :D

Thanks again for this program!

Well that's odd.

By the way, reinstalling TeeBoard doesn't really change anything as the widgets folder is only created once, the first time you install TeeBoard. After that the folder is recreated only after an update.

Hello guys,

could someone please help me out on how to change the time of the notification to be displayed? I need the longest possible. I'm just wondering as the default time set already exceeds 10 seconds but in the html there is a note that they shouldn't be longer than that for everything working properly.

Thanks in advance!
