TeamSpeak 3 Plugin

@LtRoyalShrimp
It looks like TS3 is getting the request for the people in channel (channelclientlist cid=#### -voice) so it looks like the return isn't being picked up. I have got the plugin to display people in channel over a network until the whoami loop kicks in. Have you tried running OBS as an admin? The Overlay writes the names to a file to display them and something may (or may not) be refusing write access.

I'll still keep trying for a solution to the whoami thing and I think I have a solution to the name not changing but I've not had a chance to implement it and test.

Ill give running it as admin a try and report back.

Can you post the log (found in Help -> Open Log Folder) from when it caused the crash. Also, what settings are you using for the Plugin (Plugins -> TeamSpeak 3 Plugin) and what settings are you using for the Overlay (specifically, how many people have you got it set to show)?

If there is any other file u need, write back and Ill try and ge that for yha.
Hade to Rar the file since the files was over 1meg.

Also If I start in some other scene and then swap to this scene, then there is no problem.
If I start another OBS to record the error, and then try to start the bugged scene, thent he bugg does not happen.
I tried to record the bugg, but I cant record with OBS, because if I start another OBS and record thent he bugg does not happen.

OBS also seems to take about 3x as long when I click stop streaming to actually stop.

If I don't have the TS3 plugin installed, it usually instantly stops streaming(Even with .flv recording enabled)

@LtRoyalShrimp @sneaky4oe

adocilesloth updated TeamSpeak 3 Plugin with a new update entry:

Network Improvements (hopefully)

Hopefully fixed the plugin not really working over a network connection. It should now do everything it will do locally across a network. The overlay may flicker on occasion. Let me know if it does it a lot.

Also added the ability to put the speaking symbol to the right of a name as requested by Sneaky4oe.

Read the rest of this update entry...

@Wolfbane can you try this latest version and see if your problem persists.

@ Adocilesloth - Seems like it fixed the bugg. At least I dint get any problems with it now. But Ill test it a little bit more tomorrow.

Also saw that you added. "Speaking Symbol Right of Name" box.

Sweat, keep up the good work.

YES! It's working.

Two bugs:
  • If I edit color, size etc and hit ok, overlay disappears until I restart stream
  • Sometimes when I start stream, the overlay, which I previously set to black with orange outline is black with blue outline. Lol.
  • EDIT: Also causes OBS to not be able to stream and the error is: RTMP(Something) cannot full buffer.
  • Confirmed because when I take out the plugin, I can stream. Need any info?

General question:
I am slightly confused about the overlay. I assume you mean overlay in the stream, not in whatever game you're playing at the moment?

Yes, exactly that. The overlay shows who is in your channel and who is speaking on the stream. It doesn't put anything on your own monitor, just in the stream.

I've just tried it. Interesting concept, only... could you add an option to only show the name when the person is speaking? Imagine when you have 20 people in the channel. That would clutter the stream a lot.
