You're pulling the actual .mp3 data for Zune now aren't you? It seems to be buggy but that may just be my actually songs not being named correctly since I just let the software fix that for me.

Also it seems to be having trouble pulling numbers in Media Monkey. Ex. 21 days by blink 182 displays as days - blink

Can you add Music Unlimited to the list of web services on this great program?

Will do

Cool. I tried uninstalling completely (backup up my profile ofc), and reinstalling fresh, still nothing. Like, literally, WTF.!?

I've been googling around some more, and I think because your windows system is LT, you use a different windows encoding.
Standard encoding is CP1252, I think you're using CP1257

Windows-1257 (Windows Baltic) is a single byte code page used to support the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian languages under Microsoft Windows.

I can't promise if I can fix this, since I'm not sure if it's doable to detect a difference in encoding.

I'm not exactly pulling actual .mp3 data, but it's close enough. I'm actually grabbing the title of the mp3 file and removing .mp3. That's actually kind of naive to think of it. You could rename "Never gonna give you up by Rick Astley" to "dflkjzxmn.mp3", and it would still show up as never gonna give you up in zune.

I'll see if I can actually pull mp3 data. I'm not sure it'll be possible since I need to open the file, and I'm not sure if I will get access to it since it's opened in Zune/WMP

I'll take a look at the mediamonkey thing as well, that shouldn't be complicated at all, probably just something I overlooked

PEOPLE HAVING TROUBLE WITH ITUNES

A new problem popped up with iTunes.
I'll make sure to fix it for the next version.

There's a workaround to make it work right now.

1: open iTunes
2: start iTunes on SMG
3: smg does nothing
4: restart SMG
5: select iTunes again
6: this time it should work

There's a chance this will fail, since I'm not sure where the actual problem lies yet.

If you mean the "regional settings", then yeah, I have Lithuanian there. But then, how does it work with Firefox? :S

All I can come up with is that since Pale Moon is built specifically for windows, it looks up windows encoding in some way, and Firefox just defaults to utf-8 or standard western, I really don't know.

Bascially my problem, the actual mp3 file names are a mess and zune corrects them, just need to go through and properly name them.

Okay, so by changing the encoding I could check if it works, right? I've tried changing this one, to English (restarted after): https://www.dropbox.com/s/df6bevovjvd85 ... .33.27.png
Still can't see any changes, is there any other place I should look at?

You can only change system wide encoding if you have windows ultimate edition, I tried setting mine to Lithuanian to see if I could reproduce the error, ended up not even being able to fully switch language :/

Hi
I'm having some trouble with Windows Media Player. The program picks up the song correctly but only writes 35ish characters cutting the song title.
BTW thank you for your amazing work :D

*EDIT*
Actually, it appears that this problem is only occurring for certain songs (which are from a podcast).

Hi, have download v 1.6 but seem to having little success, All my mp3s are tagged correctly. I have tyried playing them in WMP, VLC and MCHC.

The program only sucsessfully displays the info from MCHC and then it's the filename, not tag info it seems and only the first song, when a second song starts playing it does not show new info in the application itself

and the currentsong text file remains empty, It's never written to,

Am I doing something stupid. I have placed the SMG folder in OBS/plugins but that's fiatlu irrelavant I assume other than to OVS to get the text file.

I'm running win 7 ultimate.

I'm at a loss.

I actually realized that the programs retrieves the file name, not the title of the song. Is there a way to make it happen?

I'm using Pandora and it works like a charm, thx for the great job !

It's been awhile since I was looking for such a script.

Is it possible to make the text scroll so it doesnt take up as much space in the stream window?

Check OBS options ! You can add scrolling for a text scene and much more.

Hmm, this isn't much of a issue, but it seems that adding spaces to output does not being saved between sessions. Normal letters works fine, but spaces seems to be bugged. I can add them, but it just doesn't save the spaces between each time i open the program and have to re-add them each time.

Other than that, works like a charm! <3

That's what I came here to post about.

It would also be nice if this program would start when it opens
