I really liked the new update. Just as feedback, the camera movements when using the command arrows seem to get stuck if you keep them pressed, which causes the commands to stop working sometimes.
I’ve made a number of fixes and improvements to the VISCA code in the last few test releases. Please try again with the latest release and let me know if you still have the problem.

Great plugin! I got this working with my Canon CR-N100s. One question I had is if this works with NDI cameras over NDI Bridge? I can see the NDI Bridge cameras as sources, but do not know what to put as their hostname or IP address.
PTZ control via NDI is not supported yet. Many NDI cameras can also be controlled with VISCA though

Hello @glikely: PTZ Controls is my favourite OBS Plugin - thanks for all that you do in developing and maintaining it. I have installed Version 0.17.0 and I have a couple of questions/comments:

- Is the the change to the naming of Presets (with the added (1)), permanent, or will it be configurable or parameter driven?
- Three different browsers (Firefox, Chrome and Microsoft Edge) all display a warning message saying the plugin download/install file is "... not commonly downloaded.").

Regards...

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad it is working for you. The number in brackets is the preset id on the camera, which doesn’t change when reordering presets. It isn’t going away, but I will refine how it is displayed

I can’t do much about the second problem I’m afraid. Just need more people to download the plugin I guess

I have downloaded 0.17.0 into C\ Program Files\obs-studio\obs-plugins\64bit but they PTZ Control does not show in the Docks Menu. I'm running 31.0.3. What am I doing wrong?

You should use the installer instead (make sure to uninstall old versions first). The plugins directory for OBS studio is not in Program Files anymore. It is now c:\ProgramData\obs-studio\plugins\obs-ptz

glikely updated PTZ Controls with a new update entry:

Help Wanted! Can you translate ptz-controls?

I've just added support for internationalization to the plugin so it can be used in other languages. Unfortunately, English is the only language I actually speak, so I need help from here. Would you be able to help translate OBS Studio into other languages?

I've set up a translation project on Crowdin. It should be easy to go to that site and start translating the plugin strings into other languages.

Okay, using the installer option worked. However, I do not have the Visca over ISP option to be able to connect my PTZ camera. What do I need to do?

ISP? Do you mean Visca over IP? There are two different visca over IP protocols: UDP and TCP. As far as I can tell UDP is the most common, so try that first. If it doesn't work then try the TCP option.

Perhaps. I am learning as I go. Perhaps I misremembered and mis-typed it. Okay, thank you! I will communicate with the results

UDP protocol worked. I figured out I needed to press plus several timesto add the camera presets frpm the PTZ website. Nice that you can rename the presets. Worked great today. Thank you

glikely updated PTZ Controls with a new update entry:

First 0.18.0 prerelease

I'm getting ready to create a new release of PTZ controls. There are lots of reliability and cleanup changes in this release. You can read the full description on the 0.18.0-pre1 release page.

Most importantly the plugin now supports localization translations. I'll make the 0.18.0 release in about two weeks. Before then, if you want to have PTZ Controls translated into your own language, please head over to the...
