Alright, I had this problem and I know a lot of other people have this problem that has the desire to create content, just like me. I'm not gonna waste any time, I'm going straight to the point. First, let me explain why OBS looks bad. So, it's your Bitrate. First of all, I'm going to link a video and copy all of his settings EXCEPT for the bitrate. Video: http://y2u.be/YRZWPHA40vE | Now, for the bitrate, select CBR.
Recording Games (1080p)
75K-100K
Recording Games (720p)
40K-50K
Recording Desktop (1080p)
40K-50K
Recording Desktop (720p)
40-50K
Now, if you're recording games at 1080p with a higher framerate than 120 frames you will always want to use the higher option.
