Twice this has bitten me:
1. Go to a webcam in Sources
2. Open Properties
3. Click Configure Video. Note that a seemingly independent camera properties window opens and you can leave it open while using OBS.
4. Change to a different scene and then try to Start Recording.
Note that the recording will appear to be working. You can even use the Output Timer to tell it when to stop. But when you stop it, or when the Timer stops, you'll be stuck at "stopping recording" and eventually OBS will crash. There will be no recorded file at all.
I've lost important recordings to this bug twice. Thank you for any assistance.
