and besides that, what about ffmpeg? should i just wait for a fix? i just have quite a few sources that i have to redo every time, rescaling, cropping, add filters, etc. i really don't want to do that. but the OBS keeps just closing still

Since it is a dependency my suggestion would be to swap over to VLC sources.

oh, I forgot reply to u

The thing is that I downloaded from github previous build obs 31.0.1 and copied the file avcodec-61.dll from this version and replaced it in my OBS 31.0.2. My session was short, about an hour, but during this time the OBS did not close once.

Next time I will check on a longer stream, about 6 hours and see how it will be.

and exactly when I started OBS and stream to check it - it immediately closed as before without error.
I even rolled back the version to 31.0.1, but that didn't help either. probably because the avcodec-61.dll file has the same version in both of these OBS versions.

I will look for this file of an older version, maybe it will help me. don't know what to do :(

This is not what I have suggested to do at all, you should swap all media sources over to VLC sources and let us know if you are still having issues.

I wrote about it above, you must have missed it.
First of all, I don't have a "source" for the VLC in the obs, and second I won't do that, as it would take too much time for all the editing of all the sources.

UPD: I deleted the video source with the .webm file and the "closing" stopped. for 8 hours stream there was not a single OBS closure.
I continue to monitor.

This is from one of your earlier logs. There is a conflict on your system. Most likely Adobe CC running in the background, kill it.

04:02:16.205: Blocked loading of '\coresync_x64.dll' 6 times.
04:02:16.206: Number of memory leaks: 0

Looking at later logs, I suspect there still may be issues as nothing previously suggested was done. HAGS still enabled, outdated/stale plugins, ect. Upload the next log to the analyzer & follow the directions.

Great, it's complete with no blocked loading. If it doesn't crash anymore , cool. But if it does going forward, there's still plenty of room for improvement. Unfortunately no time to do any legwork today so start checking those plugins. I know your Nvidia Video FX is stale & there's issues with your StreamFX plugin (missing), there may be more.

There's a HDR bug with the Nvidia driver you're using, thought I'd mention it since HDR is enabled. The 572.83 driver fixes it. BTW, HDR should be disabled for both monitors. You're placing unnecessary load (forced color conversion) on your system with it enabled.

Fixed General Bugs

  • [GeForce RTX 5080/5090] Graphics cards may not run at full speeds on system reboot when overclocked [5088034]
  • [GeForce RTX 50 series] GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs crashes with black screen [5120886]
  • Some NVIDIA Control Panel / NVIDIA App settings changes immediately get reset or give error [5160516]
  • PC may bugcheck IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL 0xa during gameplay with HDR enabled [5091576]
  • [VRED 2026] Optix compile error with R570 branch drivers [5122360]
  • [Derivative TouchDesigner ] Application stability issues [4606316]

From your log. As far as StreamFX, something is trying to use it, probably a filter.
02:14:36.176: [NVIDIA VIDEO FX]: NVIDIA VIDEO FX version: 0.7.2.0
02:14:36.203: [NVIDIA VIDEO FX]: enabled, redistributable found

10 to 8 bit color conversion. OBS is in 8-bit color. If you want to play in HDR, OBS can record it.

Important notes about HDR and 10-bit:

  • HDR and 10-bit can only be encoded with AV1 and HEVC encoders.
    • 10-bit HEVC encoding requires NVIDIA 10-series, AMD 5000 series, or newer GPU. Intel QuickSync and Apple VT are not yet supported.
  • The recommended settings for HDR are Color Format P010 and Color Space Rec. 2100 PQ.
  • If you wish to encode 10-bit SDR, you can use Color Format P010 with an SDR color space (e.g. Rec. 709, Rec. 601). However, AV1 or HEVC will still be required.
  • HDR streaming is currently only supported via YouTube's HLS service via an HEVC encoder.
  • When composing in SDR, games that operate in HDR can now be properly tonemapped to SDR.
  • Video capture devices can be used to capture and stream in HDR if the device supports it (e.g. EVGA XR1 Pro, Elgato 4K60 Pro Mk.2, AverMedia Live Gamer 4K).
  • Certain filters will not function if a source is rendering with HDR:
    • Apply LUT, Chroma Key, Color Key, Image Mask/Blend, Luma Key, Sharpness
  • Mac/Linux support is limited. HDR preview does not work, and several inputs/encoders still need to be updated.
