So I was a PC user using the HD60S until a month ago I got the new MacBook pro 13 inch 2.0 GHz quad-core 10 gen. Using OBS link, I had choppy and most of the time no sound. I emailed Elgato support for help and this is straight from their support email. Which I call BS
From Support 1st response:
It does appear what you're experiencing is a performance related issue as your Mac does not have a dedicated graphics card which is required for the HD60 S. Running two programs (OBS Link and OBS) is likely creating a bigger strain than your Mac can handle and likely will not work properly.

Here is my response after:
I don’t think this is a matter of graphic card issue but the OBS link software itself. If this is a graphic card issue, then the graphic will be choppy not audio choppy. To be honest, I have no issue with graphic opening OBS and OBS Link, the video is fine. There is no lagging, The only problem is audio being choppy or no sound at most of the time. I tested your theory of having both program running OBS and OBS link on the same computer as the main cause of the issue. I did a test of having just OBS link running on the Mac to reduce the use of resource as you are saying this new Mac cannot handle both OBS and OBS Link. Since OBS Link is using NDI protocol, I have another computer running NDI monitor and /or using NDI source in OBS in the same gigabyte network. I have no issue with video at 30 fps but audio remain either no sound or choppy. So this is not a matter of my Mac performance.
Once again, I heave no issue with Game Capture HD on the Mac. But there are things that game capture cannot do with what I am trying to do.
There are multiple forums on this issue and no one has the solution. Most people agree this is OBS Link issue and please have your OBS Link development team look into it.

Thanks for getting back to me.
Your Mac does not have a dedicated graphics card, this means it relies on the processor to do the encoding and decoding. Also your processor is below the recommended clock speed as well. Essentially the encoding and decoding is falling behind because your Mac can't keep up. Since audio and video are encoded differently, it's possible that one may work while the other does not.
The fact remains that unfortunately your Mac is far below the requirements for the HD60 S, if basic performance troubleshooting does not help, we may not be able to resolve your issue.
