OBS Compressing My DSLR Image Quality

Hey all!

Any help with this would actually be massive and greatly appreciated.

When using my Sony FX3 via HDMI + Cam link 4k the image quality seems to drop as soon as it goes into OBS before I even record - I know this due to the quality being near lossless when viewing from the elgato capture quality app.

The settings on my camera are accurate and suitable for what my output preferences are and my high output 4k HDMI doesn't seem to be a problem.

It seems to be that as soon as it goes into OBS it just to diminishes in quality. I have tried everything but struggling to find a fix.

My computer is more than strong enough to handle the encoding process

In OBS, your capture device is set to run with a resolution of 1920x1080. You might want to increase it in the source properties, if it supports it.
