I don't understand, I thought that CABAC is supposed to be unchecked... What's better for someone that has weak CPU like mine? Checked or unchecked?
CABAC uses up a bit of gpu but more efficient than CAVLC (unchecked). its only worth turning off if you dont care to much about the size and have really high settings i.e. 1080@60. in that case, you might be able to squeeze out a little more quality sacrificing bitrate.

in other words, check it if you are streaming.

does anyone know how to get it working with gta sa
Does vanilla OBS hook into gtasa (reliably) for you? Fullscreened is a bit hit or miss for some reason. Switching to windowed mode and hooking it then seemed to work. I haven't investigated it further though (as little relative plays it and finally resorted to dxtory :P).

If you want 1080p@60 click Speed button and you're done (or maybe AMF with balanced). Everything else you can forget about (unless you get R9-285 :P).

The OBS OpenCL balanced button is wroking
But Quality button is not wroking -> http://youtu.be/nD8PqbxtQss
And the AMF balanced is not wroking (Speed is not wroking too)-> http://youtu.be/nX-hZX-FyWw

If i use your https://github.com/jackun/openencodevfw
to bandicam with Quality setting is wroking (search range X/Y 36)
But the FPS drop like 30 (70->45~50)

Reading the thread would do the job..pretty sure dping posted more than enough in that regard.
Sure reading is nice and i've done that but i'm terrible in technical language, for me it makes sens when it is said like this:
change this to make less pc useage etc.
As you all know thread is a lot of technical stuff and thought 67 pages people whole time asks how to setup encoder.

I'd report that to the main obs thread. Jackuns build is based on that build so if there is a issue with both, then report it there. they might request logs for this.

And is why we have 67 pages;we've answered each individual question on the thread. but whats your issue? what settings are you trying to accomplish. i.e. streaming/local, whats your upload speed, what resolution, what fps, which video card, windows version include 32/64 bit? these are all variables of the different users on this thread. and then there comes preference, some like other settings than I prefer...

Jackun has put in presets so that should make it much easier for you since 80% of the settings are changed with those buttons

@HA6 did you try using host instead of DX11? and also check the "do not use DX11 interop"

Hey guys,

The branch works great and I've been using the latest version for a couple of days now. One thing I noticed though, you can't watch the stream via Mobile App at all unless you go through Following > Channels, and then there's no audio. Only this encoder seems to be the issue, and no amount of settings changes within it seem to resolve the problem.

Is this already known? I've been looking around for a while and haven't found any info regarding this, and I've been in an email thread with Twitch staff about it.

make sure your Encoding Profile is set to "Main" under the advanced tab. high is not as compat. with mobile apps

It was already on "Main" before, never changed. Mobile works absolutely fine on x264 and QuickSync, but AMF and OVE both have the problem I described.

So, you are using CQP for streaming? CQP bitrate can and will go way over 3000-4000kbit/s. You're better off using CBR for streaming (but then of course it will be blockier).
E: Lel, I can't read. Anyway, plain file looks fine to me (my laptop hates flash).
edit edit: Flash 11 seems to stutter and flash 15 throws some green in at IDRs (keyframes), hmm.
Try this build.

If I'll remember, I'll go through the thread and link some settings etc posts links to OP, maybe.

@HA6 what's your scene setup? Only using game capture? Upload log file where you recorded with Speed preset and "Disable D3D11 Opencl interop." unchecked, just in case.

Please post screenshots of your settings pages including the VCE, advanced, encoder, etc.

EDIT: I often watch my own channel from my phone so I know its worked in the past

The Level=4.1 was a recommendation by Xangold before he realized I was using a different encoder. He was telling me that VCE was sending Video 4.2, which Twitch app by default doesn't list because it's not compatible with some older, supported devices.

Right, missed that option. x264 sets it to 4.1 too.

2015-01-07 [32bit] [64bit]: AMF profile level to 4.1
