Same thing here, waiting for an updateUnable to find any functioning settings on Windows 10, R9 390 and 15.20.1062.1004-150803a-184226E drivers (only drivers that work on this card).
VCE 1080p60fps with 20, 30, 40, 50 Mbps on Speed & Balanced settings (AMF) has massive stutter and frame drops or it just stops recording after 2 seconds.
I'm able to record with x264 1080p60fps though..
Other scenario is that it just crashes the display driver.. Which is probably AMDs fault, since R9 390 seems to have a lot of display driver crash issues.
Nice! Doesn't have the replay buffer feature though :/Everyone, please try the latest multiplatform version. Everything works there.
I've tried multiplatform version and it works ;)) However.. performance hit is quite noticeable compared to shadowplay. I get approximately -5\6 fps hit at 1920x1200 30 fps (I tried different encoder settings, didn't help much) When your fps is not much higher than 60, it's a lot. Any tips?
I tested it, at 1080p60fps I got a 50% fps hit in CS:GO and the recording was freezing a lot. It's probably because my card uses GCN 1.0. At 720p60fps the recording was fine, but I got a 30-40% fps drop. I probably could record at 1080p60fps if I was able to adjust the VCE settings to use the 'Speed' preset that is available in the old OBS.Everyone, please try the latest multiplatform version. 2015-10-03: [32bit] [64bit] : Update to v0.656b
@Matthew M. Dean Save as FLV, then you _should_ be able to play the recording later when driver/obs crashes.
Playclaw guy said on forum he's getting ~110fps at 1440x900 using AMF :-/ I must be doing something very wrong here then, heh.
(Without searching the thread) Has anyone noticed when OCing the GPU there's corruption in h264 stream?
