Hi there, I’m a Mac user (tragically) and I’ve been struggling with this plugin all day. Looked up videos and dug through forums and I still really need some help.

The plug-in installed fine, it seemed like it was all set up to go, but then when I tried to start streaming (to both YouTube and Twitch) neither stream worked. Nothing showed up on either platform despite using OBS successfully without the plugin to stream several times already. I can’t stream at all as of now, even just to Twitch, after un-syncing the plugin’s start/stop from OBS and never starting it. I’ve reset stream keys wherever I can, tried everything I can think of.

Now I just want to uninstall the plugin, but it is absolutely nowhere to be found in the plugins folder on my computer. (The plug-ins folder is hard enough to find on Mac, but I found it, and no luck.) I tried deleting plugins that -look- like it could maybe be this one, but that just crashed OBS when I reopened, and I had to reinstall OBS to get it to open again. I’ve tried this several times and no luck. So by process of elimination I’m pretty sure it’s not there, even if it was under a confusing name.

I still cannot find this plugin on my computer, but it’s still in OBS, keeping me from streaming. I’ve missed scheduled streams because of this and it’s very stressful.

Does anyone know how to uninstall this thing? Or even just how to find this plugin on Mac, or what the file is called? I’m about to just delete all of my plugins and nuke it from orbit

After installing this plugin via the installer I am not able to move anything within OBS as if everything is locked when in fact it is not. Everything worked fine before that. Even after uninstalling the app on Steam it still doesn't fix it. How can I fix this?

I noticed I was able to right click & remove "Lock Preview" after setting up another scene for a new game. I am not sure why this all happened to begin with as this has never happened before & only happened after installing this mod. In any case its solved now.

First, of all, please temper your response. That will go a long way toward helping you get help.

Given the appearance of your screenshots, I am assuming you are running some version of Windows. Please tell me otherwise if I am wrong.

If it is Windows, you will need to do the following:

Open Explorer, then navigate to where OBS Studio is installed.

In most cases, it will be in C:\Progam Files\obs-studio

Adjust as necessary.

Then you will go into the obs-plugins\64-bit folder within, then delete the files: obs-multi-rtmp.dll obs-multi-rtmp.pdb

Then go back up two folders so you're back in C:\Progam Files\obs-studio\obs-plugins\64bit, then go into the data\obs-plugins folder, then delete the folder: obs-multi-rtmp

Since you said you had uninstalled your OBS Studio, you will need to reinstall the plugins you intend to continue using.

You're welcome.

I'm having the exact issue, only half of my stream is on faceboo and Youtube. In OBS 30.1.2 it appears to be fibe both starting and stopping the broadcast. I do however go to "Start Streaming" then in the multioutput window "click" start all.
Any information or resolution to this issue would be appreciated.

Really? Because I have to give him enough credit that he actually GOT a response whereas I and a few others are still awaiting solutions...

Just saying, maybe causing a ruckus has its merits.

But if i search on obs folder the dll files etc they aren't avaible... In fact if i put the plugin folders into obs folder i get the new one, but i still have the bugged old one too. How i can fix this?

Hi everyone, I stream on YouTube and Twitch, I set it to 6000 for both, on YouTube it says everything is ok, but on Twitch it says the average bitrate is too high, does anyone know how to resolve this? says unstable connection

First of all, thanks for being the one to help me realize I'm not the only one seeing this.

For now, I just monitor my streams and my Rule 0 for my chat is to immediately inform me about any technical issues. This holds especially true since stream buildup and encoding are handled by two completely different computers with NDI being used to move data from the "studio" PC to the "encoder" PC, while two more feed content into the "studio" PC, notably the "VTuber" and "gaming" PCs.

OK, I finally figured out my and most everyone else's stability issues. Thanks, Katt for... IDK, hanging out?

So, if you're like me and use Wifi to stream on. I discovered that I was just a bit outside the Wifi range. I purchased an extender, and that solved EVERYTHING. As for bitrate. You should do a speed test to see what your bandwidth is and your total bitrate between all streams should be 50-75% of your total upload speed. So in @luisamanetti's case, they are sending 12mb/s of stream data. Make sure your upload speed is 24mb/s or more. If not, adjust your bitrate per stream to fit that upload speed.

It's easy to blame this plugin especially when we're given this level of support, but check your connection health/speed first. The plugin itself is working as it should, it's just a bit advanced for some. Hope this helps.

Thank you,
I've had a similar experience. I was using the plugin fine (Rumble and YouTube)
Then I updated my version of OBS to 30.2.2 (64Bit Ubuntu via apt - not flatpack) and the plugin is no-where to be found.
I reinstalled the plugin and still nothing. No evidence the plugin exists.
Could be a compatibility issue with new version of OBS on Ubuntu?
FYI other plugins survived the update and are working fine such as waveform.
Anyone else experiencing this?

God is good!
The plugin seems excellent, i am trying to fix some of the stability issues on my 30.x install. Right now it doesn't provide binary releases and must be built from source. Looking into how to best do this now.

I have a question about this plug in, Works well with everything, but one question. I usually have setting "Take from OBS" for Encoders. But if i will create OutputA with it's own Encoder setting and then with make OutputB and will use "Take from OutputA" - will it use same Encoder Channel in NVEnc or will it create another one?

Like, when you use "Take from OBS" it doesn't create any other Encoder channel and thus not creating pressure on GPU.

"Take from OBS" means just that. It takes the settings you have for OBS's built-in streaming encoder process and uses them for that stream. Of course, any others can use other settings (different profile, different bitrate, etc.), but if you say, "Take from OBS", your settings there will directly be used in that session. That's how I can simulcast to YouTube and Twitch and still have the same high quality on both streams, yet still be in compliance with (one of) Twitch's simulcasting provisos. If I had to use different quality settings in any of the streams, I would have to specify settings in the output set up in the plugin to worsen the YouTube settings. To wit, Twitch basically says, like the Ten Commandments of Streaming (should I channel Mel Brooks here?), "No other parallel stream shall be of better quality than that on me."

When it comes to chat, the other big proviso you need to observe while multistreaming, that's not something for this particular thread. That's best discussed elsewhere. ;3

P.S. For the record, I'm using Sorayuki's release, which I have had zero problems with using here.

That doesn't answer the question of OutputB taking\sharing session from OutputA without creating additional pressure on GPU. My idea is to, somehow, start multi-stream without starting the main obs output. (In my case it is twitch, but sometimes i play games like GTA2 which doesn't get any attention at Twitch, but alot of attention on Youtube and other platforms)

But, if OutputB just copies OutputA's setting and creating it's own encoder session - thats bad.
One way to deal with that problem which 100% works - Another OBS Profile without Twitch.

Sadly, this Plugin doesn't have "Take from OBS recorder" option. With this option present, there will be no need to start main Output. After all, recorder does same thing as main obs output, creating the encoder session which it shares to\from main output.

P.s. as far as i can see, it should create single Encoder session if OutputA takes from OutputB. because Changing bitrate setting in OutputB changes OutputA's too. But i need confirmation from experienced users :D
