hey im a windows user and was having the same issue with the transitions not loading. It looks like this download link installs the Linux version not the Windows version.

When I tried this link at the top of the screen it worked just fine when I opened OBS.

Glad you caught that! Regretfully it didn't help me, as I downloaded the right version originally. (move-transition-installer.exe) Maybe I should just live without these fancy transitions. :-(

Hello,

I'm trying to trigger Move Source automatically when a source is being displayed or hidden.
The source has a transition of 1000ms applied on it (obs>display and hide transition).
I want to start both the transition and the Move filter at the same time.

For display, I use the Move source option "Source Activate: when the source becomes actively shown in the final mix" and it works fine. Both the move and transition are triggered at the same time.

For hide, the Move source triggers only AFTER the transition, when the source is ALREADY hidden, not when it deactivate.
Is there a way to trigger the Move source right when the "eye" icon in OBS is being hidden, not the picture, so at the start of the transition ?

I tried:
"Source deactivate: When the source becomes not active, so not showing in the final mix"
"Source Hide: when the source is not showing anywhere"
I think both are doing the same thing, while Source deactivate is what I expected to work.

Shouldn't it work like that ?
Source deactivate should trigger first, when the eye icon in OBS is being hidden, when it "becomes" not active and at the start of the transition.
Source hide should trigger at the end, when the picture is not visible anymore, after the transition ends.

In some situations the camera will rapidly move to the target location, but then the camera will freeze entirely for about 5-6 seconds and reset to the original position and then try again and repeat. Other times it will just not do anything or move to the next filter in the loop. I tried all versions from 2.8.5 through to 2.9.6 and the problem appears to be introduced at version 2.9.2

Issue 2 - If I put some time in the end delay setting the FPS in OBS drops from 30 to 19. If I zero this out and put it in start delay this does not occur at all. I did not expect this behaviour but it does give your broadcast a performance impact so I will workaround the problem for now using start delay only. This has been observed across all versions.

hi, i'm currently having issues getting the Audio Move filter to display.
i see many of the other options in the plugin, but the one i'm specifically trying to use is Audio Move, but unless it's been renamed, removed or repurposed, i can't find it.

i'm on OBS version 30.0.2 and Windows 10 if these things help, if there's any other additional information necessary to help resolve this, let me know, thanks in advance.

i've got it now, i didn't think to add my microphone as a source since OBS already detects it by default. thanks for the help!

Hi guys, as for many others - AFTER committing the mistake of starting OBS once in Safe mode - MOVE TRANSITIONS - despite being installed - have disappeared COMPLETELY.

I'm back in normal mode, of course, but the plugin - and only THIS ONE plugin - is COMPLETELY gone.

No version helps to bring them back. Not 2.9.7, not 2.9.8. NOTHING. There is even a bug report about this on github: https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/issues/9963

@Exeldro can you help, please?

No matter what I do, it's as though the plugin wasn't even there. All the files are there in both folders C:\Program Files\obs-studio\obs-plugins\64bit and C:\Program Files\obs-studio\data\obs-plugins\move-transition

I'm on the latest 30.0.2 version of OBS but the issue already occurred on the previous version.

@Loosha OBS Safe mode does not remove the plugin, it only removes the custom transitions you got, you can recreate that by clicking the plus icon in transitions dock.

Thank you. I lost nearly 2 full hours plus the remainder of my sanity on that stupid "its not a bug, its a feature" attitude of the OBS devs.

Still a great plugin, though. Thanks for all the hard work you put in.

Hi @Exeldro, I´m from Argentina so excuse my poor english. I have a problem with this plugin. When it´s installed on my Desk PC (Windows 10) the camera source goes black. But when it's unistalled the source camera image backs again. I've tried reinstallig OBS, reinstallig Move Plugin with the Windows .exe and Unziping content in OBS folder. Nothing has worked. By the way, thanks for sharing. I hope sombody can help me. Bye friends.

Is Move Video Capture Device not available on MacOS Arm? I'm running 30.0.2 with the latest version of Move, and I see other move options, just not Move Video Capture Device....
