Mic audio echoing and robotic sound.. Help pls!

Alright so I'm new to OBS and just trying to get the basics for my stream up and running on twitch. Im working with a Macbook Pro, an Elgato HD60S+, Xbox One S and a Blue Snowball usb mic. The good news is I have the most important thing the gameplay coming through but there is no audio. But I'm waiting on a chat link cable to hopefully fix that issue unless there is a work around in OBS to solve..

The GREATER issue at hand here is the audio with my usb mic (Blue Snowball). I'm getting a sort of echo/robotic sound when I try to listen to the audio from the mic. I'm doing this sound test by going to the Blue Snowballs Advanced Audio Properties and selecting Monitor and Output in the Audio Monitoring drop-down and listening through headphones. Besides when testing to hear the mic audio this is usually set to Monitor Off. For the sound settings on my Macbook I have the Input set to the Blue Snowball and the Input volume for the rest of the devices all the way down. For the Output in Macbook sound settings it is set to Internal Speakers. When I test the mic audio in Voice Memos application the echo is not present but there is a little static. I hope someone can help with this issue.. I've been searching Google and Youtube non-stop and can't solve this problem. I attached screen shots of setting to hopefully help you help me. Thanks.
