Hi there!
this is probably my last way to get help, so i hope, someone can help!
i have used OBS before with the exact same set up as i had before and used the same OBS settings again - except of that i have gotten a new, better Monitor - and never had this problem before.
before i state my Hardware and settings and what i tried out, let me explain my problem..
I want to continue - after taking a break- Horror Lets plays. so i downloaded OBS again and set it up with the exact same settings as before, as the hardware is still the same, EXCEPT, a new Monitor as already mentioned.
However the problem: Once Recorded, the recorded game is darker than it is ingame AND dark spots or corners are pitch black and pixelated.
here goes the hardware:
RX 7900 XT
Ryzen 5 7500 F
Monitor: LG UltraGear (34GP63AP - B) Curved WQHD 160Hz, 1ms
yeah, maybe i could use a better CPU but im not running into any problems and as stated before, its still the same set up as before
i am more in belief, that it could be the new Monitor as my old one was a 27 inch, 75 Hz Phillips FHD
Could it possibily be the Monitor as i am not using the regular HDMI cable anymore?!
Settings in OBS:
what i tried:
Besides of beforehand watching several Tutorials and googling the problem,
I tried AMD AV1 on different CQP Levels
i tried AMD H.265 (HEVC) on different CQP Levels.
i tried the one set now on different CQP Levels.
to make sure its not the game causing it i tried different games
i tried to change the Process Priorits to above normal
i changed the color space from REC.709 to Srgb
at this point i am absolutely clueless and helpless on what else to try..
im starting to believe that it has something to do with the new monitor as nothing else has changed, but i dont know, how to solve this whether i'm right or wrong all i know is i never had this problem before.
i hope someone can help, THANKS
