I am currently using a Mac studio (latest OS), the Presonus studio live SE16 as my mixer, the Focusrite Scarlett as an audio card , and VOD ninja to add guest. my set up looks like this
AUDIO INPUT CAPTURE mic>mixer>scarlet>Mac AUDIO DEVICE NAME "SCARLET" (I also have my computers audio patched to the same channel)
AUDIO INPUT CAPTURE vb cable AUDIO DEVICE NAME "VB CABLE" For my virtual audio
BROWSER- link from VOD ninja AUDIO DEVICE NAME "BROWSER" and I use obs audio

OBS SETTINGS
MONITOR OUTPUT -MULTI OUTPUT DEVICE "STUDIOLIVE (MIXER) +VB CABLE
DESKTOP AUDIO - VR CABLE

Now when I set the Scarlets AUDIO ADVANCE SETTING to "Monitor and output" my mic sound will be streamed b.u.t I can't get rid of the echo. when I set it to "Monitor off" it gets rid of the echo but for some reason it no longer goes to my VB cable output. therefore it won't get picked up by the streaming App (FB YT) if I mute the input channel on the mixer with "monitor and output" selected ,I will hear my audio delayed which is very distracting.
in theory, if I select "monitor off" for the Scarlett, it should still go to VR cable and still be virtual audio b.u.t for some reason it cancels that out.
can someone please advise ,how can I get my mic to stream without the echo or delay and still be able to hear my guest PLEASE HELP!!!!
