Hey, unsure if the plugin is or is not capable of this need, but I figured I'd ask.

I've got it installed, 3 countdowns, 1 per amount of hours (1, 2 and 3)

I'm using touch portal to control elements on my stream, so I have a button to make 1 hours countdown appear, 2 and/or 3 depending on my needs.

I set the 1, 2 and 3 hours in the 'Countdown' settings and I see a few choices on hotkeys in the OBS Studio settings, but I either don't see an obvious one, or it's not possible.

Basically I'd like Touch Portal to turn on the source of the countdown, which it is, as it's toggles the 'Text (GDI+)' that the countdown is using, but then when I assign a key combo to one of the key hotkeys available on the countdown, none of them reset the counter to it's set value in the settings, i.e. the 1, 2 or 3 hours?

Is there a way to reset the time of the countdown from the hotkey combos, to reset the timer/countdown back to it's default I've set on it's relevant settings?

So, say I press a button on Touch Portal, it would send a ALT+CTRL+1 over to OBS Studio and then OBS Studio tells your plugin to reset it's time on timer 1, for example? [obv keys/combos, etc are just examples]

Ideally, I'm wanting an little countdown to tell people how long on the particular game I'm playing is left

There is a current but where pressing the period time set button doesn't set the text on screen. I need to look at this. Once fixed you should be able to use the hot key to set a time and it will set the timer again and update the text on screen.

I've also noticed the descriptions for the hotkeys are only showing default variable names instead of the actual text descriptions. What language have you set your pc to? It looks like the text translations aren't being found by the plugin.

And which one of the current choices I am seeing should be the one that will reset the timer to it's set time in the countdown?

I have my config set now, so that when I'm not needing the timers, they are hidden, but the button press on my Touch Portal shows the 'Text GDI+' for me, then all I need it is resetting back to the initial time per timer. I've also got a local timer on my gaming pc (dual pc streaming setup) that beeps down my ear, independent of that, it's only for the viewer to realize and not thing about asking to join the game as we'll be switching very soon.

The hotkey to use is SetHotKeyCountdownDescription. That is the one that will set the timer, then when you start it will start from the time and show on the text.

Thanks, got it all setup now, had to set 4 buttons, one to reset all the timers, and then one for each hours I want.

Tested and they all work.

Installation on Windows now requires manually copying the Windows plugin folder into the C:\ProgramData\obs-studio\plugins directory.

If you have an older version of the plugin that was installed using the previous Windows installer, you must remove those files first. Otherwise, they will interfere with the new...

I'm having a problem. I installed it and I have a timer window stuck attacked to the top-left of OBS. I can't move it or affect the size or position in any way. Under Docks if I enable Countdown Timer I have a second, non-functional one that shows up in the usual place. I suspect I have files of an older version still around but I haven't been able to remove them all. SteamUP says that I have an outdated version, 2.0.1.0, installed, even though I've extracted the folder for the latest version to C:\ProgramData\obs-studio\plugins. Any ideas?

Have you tried going to the View OBS menu and selecting Reset UI? I've had to do this before when sometimes for some inexplicable reason the plugin window ends up somewhere hidden or impossible to select.

Is this for displaying a timer in the stream itself or displaying a timer on the OBS interface for the user?

Is it possible to count down any seconds to zero. 75 seconds. Not 1m 15s

Adding the option to set a timer to start as soon as a stream is started isn't needed per say, but would really be so much easier when using a timer for ex a starting soon screen.
