This is my first forum post so I'm sorry for any mistakes.
I'm trying to record Minecraft, and so, I open up OBS and it's like all the motion blur is gone. It's like the screen is tearing, it feels extremely rough.
I feel like my PC is not the problem (5600 XT, Ryzen 5 3600). The screen tearing...
I have read that using 2 different refresh rate monitors while recording can cause stutter or tearing due to a windows allocation bug or something like that. I have a few question about that:
1. I'm wondering if this problem still exists today, or whether it is fixed.
2. Whether it also applies...
This isn't the same type of screen tear associated with VSync disabled, since it happens with and without the option enabled. Upon further inspection, the recording exhibits tearing that goes horizontal and vertical.
Another thing to note is a visual glitch, a checkered pattern as seen beneath...
Hey so I've finally come to the realization that no matter how much troubleshooting I do, NDI will always look a little less natural than the high qaulity cap card streams that I've been comparing it to. I'm thinking of getting a HD60 but had some questions regarding the screen tearing issue...
Hello everyone,
I'm using a capture card to digitize old VHS tapes. First I used the included Honestech software, but i wasn't satisfied by the quality. So I wanted to use OBS.
OBS doesn't stutter, but it has another problem, it tears up my screen. I've been looking for a fix all afternoon...
I recently got a Logitech Brio. I set it up and got it all ready in OBS. When I turn it on this happens: THIS
I've never had this issue is there anything I can do in OBS? or with the Webcam?
I record at 1080p, 240fps and my pc can run the game at much higher fps. Tried G-Sync + V-Sync, and maxing out fps and nothing seems to work. Log file is attached.
Many thanks (:
Hello! I recently noticed that my streams look a bit choppy sometimes but I don't know why, I've changed settings to 1080p, NVENC, 6000 bitrate and my PC can handle it just fine, but even on 3000 bitrate, x264 and 720p it did the same thing. I originally noticed it on tomb raider, I assumed it...

I'm having constant tearing in the video that I do not see while playing. Only visible in OBS preview and recorded footage. I have no idea what to do. I'm new to recording. Thanks for your help. Logs attached
When I open up OBS (Also happens when I'm not recording), and enter the game I am supposedly playing, the game starts to stutter, lag and slow down, and it's just a big mess. I have no idea what to do.
