Hello, I have a problem with OBS Studio. Every game I play, whether it's on PS2 or any other, it gives me this problem with these colors. The male USB cable is black 2.0. I use an EJZ HDMI 4K capture card connected to the TV and the laptop is on USB, but I wanted to know if the blue 3.0 male to...
Hi all, using latest version of 64 bit OBS, Windows 10.
I have two monitors, Monitor #1 is a LG Ultragear (Display port), Monitor #2 is a Dell P2417H (HDMI).
When I record anything on Monitor #1, even though it looks fine on my actual monitor, on OBS the colors are extremely faded and dull. If...
Hello!
I've been using OBS for years to record gameplay. I don't use it for streaming and I've never changed any advanced settings in OBS.
For some reason, videos that I create now are always dull, the colors look washed out. This happens in all games.
I've attached a video below with the...
Greetings people
I've run into a little issue. I'm using an Elgato HD60 X. It's been working... OK I'd say (suffers the occasional crackling sound that Elgato is known for) but Image has been fine. The big update came, providing HDR streaming, but I opted not to use it, because I want ultra-low...
I'm using an August VGB 500 Game capture card, and I'm having the issue that the colors are very off.
I've tried many settings by now, e.g. color range full/partial, but no success.
I'll attach 4 screenshots, each taken once on my Nintendo Switch itself and once in OBS (Screenshots are suffixed...
Hi everyone,
When I record or stream in OBS colors are messed up, in particular, blacks are too black.
I made a photo of what I see vs what OBS sees (https://imgur.com/a/pjQDRwP)... It doesn't seem a problem of the source (preview in OBS is fine) but the problem comes up in the final video...
Hey,
I am currently trying to record/stream Eclipse, but noticed the Colors are off.
In the preview, the colors seem to be correct, but once the video is recorded and I open the file, the colors are "washed out".
It doesn't matter which mode I select when using Window-Capture and the colors are...
Hey Guys
Iam recording reaction videos for youtube and for some reason whenever there are dark colors on the video itself the recording gets very weird. I am attaching two images. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?

Only the recordings are discolored
Recently downloaded OBS Studio and I've adjusted my settings accordingly. Recording is smooth, gameplay is smooth, CPU is fine and data usage on recorded footage is superb. Biggest issue I'm facing, however, is that that colors in recorded footage appear washed out and I don't know what to do in...
Hello, so basically everytime I record with OBS the final product looks like this:
Whilst the monitor shows this:
I was struggling to find the solution but didn't succeed, I would greatly appreciate if someone can help me in finding the solution.
Common Problem :
Some people are experiencing a big issue with OBS while streaming with a wide gamut monitor and a custom ICC profile like "Monitor native or adobeRGB or DCI-P3" icc profiles :
Colors are washed out on the stream (twitch / youtube for example).
My solution requires Photoshop...
