I only use this plugin to create slow-motion videos, but when I set the replay buffer to 6 seconds, I get files that are randomly between 1.5 and 15 seconds long. Has anyone else experienced this? Can anyone help me? I've never had this problem before (only since an update). Thanks.
Very helpful but it crashes 100% of the time without fail if I move the game I am recording to another window.
listen this plugin is great. but i cant use it properly until i can record multiple audio tracks at once with it cause i dont want to record 3 files at once

You can record all OBS audio tracks in a single source record recording
Hey, unfortunately I can't get the plugin working on the most recent version of OBS. The filter is not showing up at all in the scenes after using both windows install methods.
This plugin its so good, but have a big bug in backtrack feature because U cant stop backtrack and whem try close the OBS hes crash
So I really like source record the only thing I noticed that the recording does kind of bug out after a while using game capture I hope there is a fix for this soon. It would also be nice to have a plugin with OBS like replay buffer to toggle the source recording on and off.
Desperately needs a "use stream encoder" option for this to work well while streaming. I'm trying to record gameplay/cam separately, which works great (reason this isn't 1 star), until you try to do it while streaming.

Regular OBS recording while streaming is flawless, but can't separate sources that way. This would be the answer for everyone if only there was a "use stream encoder" option.

I'll be using it for recording while not streaming, but I was really hoping this was the solution while live. Will change to five stars if this changes for the better!
It is a good plugin, but there is a drawback and that is that when you want to change the scene collection, it throws an error.

"There was a problem changing scene collections and some sources could not be released. This issue is usually caused by plugins that have not released resources correctly. Make sure the plugins you are using are updated.
OBS Studio will now close to prevent any possible data corruption."

It is somewhat annoying, because when you want to work on other projects, it causes the obs to crash, but sometimes it usually happens that this error appears in the middle of the recording or minutes after opening the obs, it is something that should be solved, because it is really very annoying
All great but, if you use Screen Capture with this plugin, when you open a file as administrator the record crashes.
As cool as an idea as this is, I've yet to get the replay buffer working. I have installed everything fresh and tried it in brand new scene collections, but no joy as of yet. If I can figure it out, I'll be a happy chap.
Still randomly breaks for no apparent reason. Also somehow messes up the active/visibility signal for the entire OBS Studio instance, which makes almost everything stop working correctly.
This seems to work fine if you want to constantly record a single source. Unfortunately, I only wanted this to record gaming clip highlights without my streaming overlays via the replay buffer feature. This was for a possible alternative to Shadowplay. I have tried for 3 days going through every config I can think of, but no matter what I do, I cannot get this feature to work. It will not record the source replay buffer. Regular OBS replay buffer works fine, but the source record replay buffer feature does not ever output anything when I hit the hotkey.
i cannot for the life of me get it to work with replay buffer, ive tried changing the encoders, i verified the settings, ensured replay buffer was enabled, checked settings again, and still nothing. it works if i use replay, but how i record things is mainly highlights and clips. but im at a loss at this point. this seemed like a saving grace to my issues but it seems not :(
This plugin is good, and was sorely needed in OBS! Although, a few things are left to be ironed out.

-"Save Replay" shortcut resets to blank upon reloading the filter, either by activating/deactivating or due to a restart of OBS.
-If you try to remove the Source Record filter without disabling the buffer record, it crashes OBS.
-Source Record filter settings only update once you have turned the filter on and off.
-Replay buffer length can only be 100 seconds.

I really hope this plugin gets the extra bit of attention it needs to take it all the way to greatness, as it is nearly there!
So much potential! Excellent when it works, but been having lots of problems with footage being sped up, and audio not syncing up. To the point where source record is several seconds SHORTER than the original recording. Wondering if a fix will be available soon!
This could be very cool. I'm having an issue where the audio does not record & every time I hit "stop recording" the cams will freeze, the audio claims to still be going through the meters & OBS is frozen as well. When I close force close OBS the files will have saved but, alas, no audio. I am using the newest version & can upload the log files if the creator of this would like to help out.
Have been using this plugin for a while now to record my webcam and then my desktop separate but recently it seems to not want to record multiple sources into their own file. It will only record one source and seem to just ignore the other. Any suggesting on what the cause could be?
great plugin, but with this new version I'm having an issue with audio, I selected different audio and my capture card audio, but instead of capturing only the card audio, it captures all my pc audio, even my microphone...
This add-on is exactly what I need.

Works somewhat well at first but after a couple hours, it starts taking over the GPU. Installing it sets to GPU encoding via nvenc, even though beforehand it's set to software x264 low cpu mode, and I can't change it because it says output is active. Also, when I close OBS, it freezes, and performance becomes a bit too low to play VR.

I would love to use this add-on in the future if the bugs and other issues are fixed. I suggest adding the ability to segment the recordings so if OBS crashes after x minutes, you still have a bunch of video files already backed up. I personally would like my recordings to be under 50 minutes so they can easily be scrubbed later.
Cool plugin however it still needs work with stability as I ran into frequent crashes when recording with an audio source and when it does record, the audio is really choppy. I would love to use this but I also want to wait for this to be further developed.
Keep up the good work Exeldro! I love your work and look forward to what comes next! :)
