Semi-free CamooZ - Save & restore camera settings 7.4.3

In my older review I gave 5 stars to application, but after author decided to make money and released "semi-free" version that is crippled to unusable state, he lost two stars from me. He took advantage on people who helped him debug and improve application because it was free.

Most of the reviews here are posted while actually free versions were available.

Try to find version 6.8. That is the last actually free, fully functional version. Not polished as current version but more than good enough.

I have 2 c920's and every reboot of my pc it resets my settings. with CamooZ I saved 2 profiles and with 2 buttons on my streamdeck I load both profiles. Super app! the support of the developer is great he even frequently updates the app.

Excellent software and worth every penny paid, I recommend it 100%... in fact, I think it's fair that the complete software is now paid, because in addition to valuing the great work done by the developer, it is also a way of encouraging him to always be improving this already great app!

Not only does this tool work, the author is very responsive with support. He worked with me to get it working for CamLink 4K. He even bought the device so that he could support it!

One of the best advanced cam adjustments program so far. Using the Logitech G922 together with Camooz is an huge advantage for streaming and meetings! 5* cheers.

Absolutely wonderful piece of software that saves so much time and headaches, specially if you a stream. Unparalleled customer support!

I have been using CamooZ since at least 2022, it never failed me, always fast with the stream deck integration and just a great tool! I use it for online music classes and having multiple cameras it really is handy to just set all the properties for each one with one click. I have even set it up with my macros so that when the background programs are opening for my classes it already runs the profiles automatically. Totaly recommend it.

Für mich mit Abstand die beste Software zu Verwaltung meiner Kameras.
Das gilt nicht nur für simple Webcams. Auch die Einstellungen meiner PTZ- und CamLink-Geräte nehme ich mit CamooZ vor.

Nicht nur kann ich hier mit einem Klick sofort die passenden Einstellungen laden sondern auch automatisch beim Start oder per Script und auch noch verschiedene Profile anlegen um verschiedenen Lichtverhältnissen entgegenwirken zu können.

Extra Sterne würde ich gerne für den schnellen und sympathischen Support vergeben.
Geht leider nicht, erwähne ich daher hier einmal zuzsätzlich.

Amazing product, such a time saver.

This is an amazing product. Works great and with Elgato stream deck.
I even had some personal issues setting it up (accidentally lost my D: drive where my documents was) but the customer service was quick in helping me identify that. They even followed up afterwords to see if their suggestion worked. Never experienced that before. Will keep an eye out for all the products they put out.

Being able to save my multi camera settings has been super helpful! Totally recommend this software to anyone that has more than one camera, and also owns a Stream Deck to control it.

Developer was also very responsive when I had technical issues, and was had issues registering the software.

The creator resolved an issue with a reported error very quickly. Great tool!

Had been trying to follow this project since it's release. It was always freeze and crash every single time I opened OBS. However, my settings would at least save so that when I needed to take my Laptop elsewhere and thus have to unplug the cam(s) I could at least have the settings there for when I got back to studio. Now, with the update there's a paywall in order to simply keep that feature with a still crashing program? I'll make do without then. Appreciate what you were trying to allow us to have usage of while it was. Wish you the best.

Wonderful software, almost essential for streamers imo. Has been super useful. I don't even really have any feedback -- it just works. It doesn't do anything for you, but it gives you the power to modify your settings and keep them, instead of your webcam resetting to default settings every time you restart your computer. 5/5.

Great wee program to stop my Logitech webcam resetting all the time and to top it off had a issue that was quickly resolved :)

I've had some problems in the past with managing two C920 webcams under the same machine, but I am not sure if it's the problem of this tool or not.

Either way I've used this for 2 years after moving my streaming away from Linux (and its superior awesome V4L2 cli controls) and it gets the job done. Hell, I've bought this twice to support the guy.
