Question / Help Window capture resolution is too low

I'm trying to record Dishonored for a let's play, and I finally figured out my audio issues on my own, but the resolution is too low. I have my video settings in OBS set to record at a base of 1920x1080 and to output it at the same resolution, but it still down-scales the resolution when I open the recording in a video editing software. I'm using Game Capture.

According to the log:

14:48:08.598: video settings reset:
14:48:08.598: base resolution: 1920x1080
14:48:08.598: output resolution: 1920x1080

OBS does not appear to be doing any scaling, although this logfile does not include an actual recording sessing.

If you open the recorded file in VLC and bring up the Information window, what resolution displays there?

I'm not sure how to use VLC; I've been viewing my recordings in Filmora. I dont know where to check the resolution of the video.
