Update 32.0.1 Update Failed

Hello,
When I try to update to 32.0.1 I get the message Update Failed: Integrity check failed on bin/64bit/libobs-d3d11.dll
And I can't do a Integrity check because when I do it says this is only available on the newest version and to check for updates. So I'm in a loop.

Guys, just delete your 'libobs-opengl.pdb' file located in bin/64bit folder then update, it should create a new one after updating.

Confirmed solved when running installer from website instead of built-in. Also, make sure you don't have Steam running in the background when updating.

I'm having the same problem, on the same file.
  • Windows 11 main release, fully updated
  • OBS 31.1.2
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus B650E Elite X ICE AX (BIOS F38, newer F39b available)
  • Ryzen 9 9950X (16 cores, 32 threads)
  • 128 GB DDR5 @ 5200 MT/sec. - tested stable in Prime95 stress test
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER
  • Latest NVIDIA driver 581.29 dated September 10th, 2025
  • WD Blue SN5000 4 TB x2
  • Network: Realtek 8852CE WiFi 6E
✅ Uninstalled and downloaded newest installer, which worked fine.

I am on version 31.1.2 and my updates are failing. If I just do the installer, it wont overwrite all my scenes and stuff will it?
It shouldn't overwrite or delete anything unless you select to do so. Anyway, is a good practice to backup scene collection and profiles before doing changes / updates. Look inside the corresponding menus on the top of OBS window.
Also check for any plugin you have installed for updates and compatibility with the new version of OBS you're installing. Some plugins have their own setting and configurations that need to be backup separately. Consult on the corresponding plugin page on how to do this.
