Update 32.0.1 Update Failed

Hello,
When I try to update to 32.0.1 I get the message Update Failed: Integrity check failed on bin/64bit/libobs-d3d11.dll
And I can't do a Integrity check because when I do it says this is only available on the newest version and to check for updates. So I'm in a loop.

SAME THING HERE. CAN NOT UPDATE TO 32.0.1.

Guys, just delete your 'libobs-opengl.pdb' file located in bin/64bit folder then update, it should create a new one after updating.

Confirmed solved when running installer from website instead of built-in. Also, make sure you don't have Steam running in the background when updating.

I'm having the same problem, on the same file.
  • Windows 11 main release, fully updated
  • OBS 31.1.2
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus B650E Elite X ICE AX (BIOS F38, newer F39b available)
  • Ryzen 9 9950X (16 cores, 32 threads)
  • 128 GB DDR5 @ 5200 MT/sec. - tested stable in Prime95 stress test
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER
  • Latest NVIDIA driver 581.29 dated September 10th, 2025
  • WD Blue SN5000 4 TB x2
  • Network: Realtek 8852CE WiFi 6E
✅ Uninstalled and downloaded newest installer, which worked fine.

I am on version 31.1.2 and my updates are failing. If I just do the installer, it wont overwrite all my scenes and stuff will it?
It shouldn't overwrite or delete anything unless you select to do so. Anyway, is a good practice to backup scene collection and profiles before doing changes / updates. Look inside the corresponding menus on the top of OBS window.
Also check for any plugin you have installed for updates and compatibility with the new version of OBS you're installing. Some plugins have their own setting and configurations that need to be backup separately. Consult on the corresponding plugin page on how to do this.

This issue is currently happening with OBS when trying to update to version 32.0.4, I am unable to update the application from the pop up dialogue box that notifies me of the update available & trying to download OBS from this website only gives me version 32.0.2 instead of the most recent update.

This is ridiculous lol. I am on 32.0.2 version.

First I got the same error as OP (Update Failed: Integrity check failed on bin/64bit/libobs-d3d11.dll) so I restarted PC, and then shut down PC and powered it back up.

Now, I am getting "Update failed: Integrity check failed on bin/64bit/obs-ffmpeg-mux.exe"

I tried the solution of going to the official OBS website, running the installer. And you know what happens?

And want to know what happens if you kill the process in Task Manager? Well, it automatically restarts itself. But this is yet ANOTHER error message.

In my half a decade of using OBS on this computer and a previous PC, never had any such issue. Maybe I was just lucky until now.

Honestly no idea what to even do at this point. So I guess I just won't update. I'm not going to completely uninstall and risk not being able to even reinstall the program so I can go from 32.0.2 to 32.0.4

Same problem. Starts today

Uninstall Armory Crate. This is what provides the unstoppable/ever-restarting "ASUS NodeJS web framework". It's bloatware anyway without any useful purpose, so it's safe to uninstall.
